The village centre is a 10 minute walk via a footpath and has a convenience store, post office and a butchers. There are also two pubs, one of which is a 15th century coaching inn which serves good food and beer - and its down hill on the way back!
The site is convenient for access to the M25 and Dartford crossing for both Lakeside and Bluewater shopping centres. You can also easily access London via overground trains from nearby Stanford-le-Hope or Laindon or underground trains from Upminster (12 miles). The ExCel Exhibition Centre in London Docklands is 21 miles away via the A13.
