V busy, work in progress and not really clear as to future of this aire. Cars nip into motorhome slots.View all reviews by stitchesnfluff
Easy for beach. Wheelchair friendly. Services not efficient for number of users.
This was our first overnight stop on our 2016 trip and I echo most of the sentiments given by others. Worth noting that the bulldozers are busy at work in the immediate area and I would not be surprised to learn that this aire is being closed or moved to another location in the near future.View all reviews by freddybb3922
We use this aire regularly as it is convenient for the ferry. The pitches slope and levelling blocks are essential. Note that, due to the location it can be very windy with sand from the nearby beach getting everywhere. The several cafes and friteries are handy for snacks/drinks and Calais town with loads of bars, restaurants and shops etc. is about 15 mins walk. Previous reviews suggest that the aire is free - it is most definitely not! They keep increasing the price and it now stands at 9Euros. Quite scandalous as they do nothing for it. The service area is a disgrace, filthy and does not appear to have been cleaned ever. Payment is collected by a council official around 5 pm nightly.View all reviews by jamesr49

Nicely sited for ferries and 2 miles from tunnel. Snack bars and restaurants nearby. Recommend it. Probably busy in summer. Free.View all reviews by captgeoff
