Quiet place on the Dortmund to Ems canal. Slight road noise from traffic crossing the road bridge and canal barges but this stops reasonably early in the evening. Although the Canal Federation seem to ban traffic on these canal side roads, the locals seem to ignore this if you park on the grass at the corner and don’t impede the passing cyclists. The fishermen also seem to use this spot to park their cars.
Immediately after crossing the bridge (south bound) take an immediate right turn into a car park. Drive through this C/P and then take an immediate right. No facilities. Take your rubbish with you.
