Even in March there were 6 Motorhomes here so advisable to get here early. We originally parked on the cliff-top car park above the visitor museum but it was blowing a gale so retreated to the town. Nice and quiet aire.View all reviews by petercsmith
Great place to park up, 100mtrs to the town.View all reviews by nellyc
There is a sports park behind the tight parking spaces and a small grass area with picnic tables.
Water and waste dump but no dump for grey waste.
Basic toilets are also available.
Before we bought the motorhome, we had visited Arromanches very many times, but always from out ot of area. This time we decided to try the Aire for a couple of nights. Parked up in line and luckily had a nice patch of grass and a tree behind the van. There is space for around 12 vans and I guess that another three could have parked along the kerb opposite. Lots of places to eat and lots to do. Beautiful beach and lovely people. If you haven't been, why not?View all reviews by rumour
Service point not working June 2017
We parked up the top as teh signposts appear to prohibit motorhomes going either way to get to this place. One way says no notorhomes the other way says no busses so we parked and it was full anyway. Wish i had known about the other one just west of here ! Good town and know your history before coming here or be astounded when you get hereView all reviews by suavecarve
Free aire right in the town centre. Backs on to the municipal campsite if you can't get in. Very well lit & public loos nearby. Gets busy as there are only 13 spaces so be early! One of the spaces has a lamp post hiding behind it - we saw two motorhomes reverse into it in one day - be careful..! Relais service point for €2 for water, cassette emptying and electricity. No waste water dumping facility. Great place, lots to see in terms of the Normandy landings and the remains of the Mulberry harbour.View all reviews by kentom
First of all, it seems strange to us to be travelling in the western hemisphere. The aire is well lit tarmac with dump almost in the village centre. It’s very quiet and free. There is some paid electricity and the dump has to be paid for. Very convenient site for seeing the Mulberry harbours and the 360° Cinema. A must see place.View all reviews by kormos
