Tucked away but on the banks of the Rhine this is a great little stop off. There is plenty of space the pitches nearest the river have more of a hardstanding than those further up. 12 euros per night machine only takes coins or you can pay at the campsite reception, cahs only, extra for electric. Direct access to the Rhine and a short walk into a pretty little river front town. We were late season so things were quiet but i would imagine in summer there is a lot of atmosphere. Edecka within easy walking distance. The river is busy with barges up and down all the time but if you are travelling the Rhine that is to be expected if you don’t like the noise park at the top of the SP.

Same place and time as last year. No change except 33° last year and 17° and raining this year

Please note i only took my card to reception to pay (and its a fair walk in the rain 0.9m there and back) and ONLY CASH. No cards - Germany is so behind with this I had hoped this would have brought them up to date!!! Hope its not a sign on this trip!!

Lovely Stellplatz next door to the Campsite Golden Meile. 12€ for 24 hours, €1€ for water, electric €1. Large grass pitches, coins required to pay at the meter or you can pay at reception when open. Community swimming pool outside campsite for extra charge. Ideal for walking or cycling along the Rhine. Restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Nice. Quiet. Flat. Grass. Space to sit outside. At side of rhine path for great walks/cycling. Nice town of Remegen 15 min walk.
€12 + 1 for water + 1 for each Kwh
Bar and restaurant on adjacent campsite with showers/toilets if needed. Outdoor swimming complex also adjacent.
Would definatley use again. Got busy at weekend but never full.
