Stayed here same time last year. Very lucky got a front line view again. Busy all the time, you are lucky if someone is just leaving.

Not silent, your on a working river with barges up and down all the time with oil, containers, scrap metal and a busy freight railway bridge but its not noisy at night

But it makes for an interesting stopover

Walk or cycle along the river to the town.

Brilliant place to stop off. Was very busy and got the last space when we arrived. A little van came along selling amazing ice cream, which my husband and son loved, especially after their cycle along the Rhine in 26 degree heat ????????

Seemed like a closed shop here. Pretty much entire platz full of Carthago owners that seemed like they were on a rally or gathering. Lovely spot it has to be said. Don't be tempted to use the adjacent car park. It was busy with people at the tennis and football pitches. No longer access to the adjacent sand area as shown in older pic. This is now closed off. We moved to Braubach.

Fabulous location along the banks of the Rhine, good facilities. We managed to get a spot on the front. 7 EU for 24 hours, EHU 1 EU for 8 hours. No toilets or showers on the site, but I believe you may be able to use the nearby sports hall facilities. We had a very noisy neighbour next to us, so had to suffer late night noise as a result, which was unfortunate. Would return.

Lovely spot by the Rhein, lucky to get a river side pitch. Need to arrive early as soon fills up. Good for cycling. Small supemarket a few mins walk. Can get a shower in the adj sports club for a fee.

This is a good stopover and if you get a place on the front row there is a great view of the river. Services are very good and the town is nice. There are walks and cycling along the river and the local area and large supermarkets close by. We only stayed overnight as the entry road was being resurfaced the following day but we would definately return.

Superb place to stay. Machine only takes coins, €7 for 24 hours - can stay upto 72 hours. all facilities work well, but needed a long hose for water. A little train noise, but did not bother us.

As previously said excellent stelplatz by the Rhine. Very quite during the night, some river and train traffic during the day but nothing too much. Grassy areas to sit out and watch the barges going up and down the river. Definitely worth coming back.

Excellent stopover. Fills up quickly. Make sure you have plenty of coins to pay at machine on arrival (no card or notes). Waste and toilet discharge. €1 for water. Quiet location right on the river.

Just down the road from Andernach this is a gem of a place , right on the Rhine,€7 for 24hrs,water €1, electric varies €1 for 8hrs €2 for 16 €3 for 24.tarmac pitches overlooking the river ,very clean and lots of cycling paths and walks. Just before you get to the stelpatz is the biggest retail park i have ever seen which is worth a visit before you go to park up.Small village nearby with a few shops and train station closeby for Koblenz

Lovely aire no time limit on stay and you can put a reserved sign in your place if you want to go out. All facilities but water is either 10 cents or 1 euro. Electric is 1 Euro for 8 hours. It's 7 euros per 24 hours to stay and you pay by coins only. There is a check done daily at different times on tickets. If your lucky the first ring gets a river view. In the village is a supermarket, post office, hairdressers and restaurants. I think a bike shop also. The train is nearby to koblenzer ...
