Its obvious why this is so popular - great free location on the western outskirt of San Remo. Even if you dont get a spot on the edge next to the sea its a huge space with plenty of room. Carrefour across the road is open 24/7. The cycle track just outside the site is a perfect way to walk or cycle to Ospedaletti (4kms west) or into the heart of San Remo. For serious cyclists, the track goes all the way to Imperia.
The service point is hard to find and is the grotiest I have seen anywhere! No separate fresh water tap to the one thats used to rinse out toilet cassettes. Its begind the rugby club, two sports fields over from the parking area.

On arrival there is a sign clearly stating that the cost is €1.80/hr between 8:00 & 20:00. However afterlooking at the many other vans parked up, not one had bought a ticket. As we arrived at 19:00 we took a chance and waited to see if there was a crowd at the machine the next morning waiting to pay. No one! We left lunch time after a peaceful nights sleep and a lovely short walk along the cycle way. Found waste dump behind second sports field. Didnt find fresh water tap. I rated value for money as fairly good as we didnt pay. Very poor if you pay as more expensive than an ACSI campsite near by that had hot showers loos ehu etc

Better area- than the large gravel sosta area-along past 2 sports fields. As you enter large parking gravel area/sosta- there is a road to left, drive past 2 sports fields- long road, can park by sea- with sea view. Bigger vans can access to, turning point at end. ? Walk/ cycle down and check. Will add photos. Enjoy.

great stopover, loads here when we arrived. Weather was lousy so only stayed for one night. Was quiet at night. Some vans look as if they were here long term, not surprised as it is on the coast and free.
Couldn't find any facilities other than bins, despite driving around. Town and supermarket within minutes

Stopped 2 nights. There is a machine but no one has paid about 25 vans. Police came for a drive round. Water is to the far left on the corner as you come in entrance. The dump is follow the road round past the two fields. Then round to the left and its round the back of the toilet block. Nice walk or ride into san remo old railway line runs for 28km if you want. Supermarket near. Nice quiet overlooking the sea.

Pitched up here for the Milan-San Remo cycle race. Lots of people parked up but still bags of room as this place is massive. No one charging which was a bonus & a front row spot looking out to sea. Great pizza restaurant just across the road along with a 24hr Carrefour. Fantastic cycle track into town (10 mins) or even further along the coast if wanted. Only downsides were no services & a bit dusty otherwise A+. Additional (free) parking is available in the side roads between this car park & the sports facility along the seafront but gets full quickly.

Parked here 30th and 31st December along with hundreds of other vans parked in every little space. The actual sosta was taken over by the fairground workers but there is plenty of space all around to park, some with sea views. The close cycle path is great! Supermarket across the road and Sanremo town centre bout half an hour walk. Water is available and emptying for grey waste but for black waste there was nothing. Wouldn't pay to stay, luckily no one was charging.

Excellent stop over close to the town. Costs €15 per night including services (which are located down a side road). You can get quite close to the sea in the van but the sea front spots are often taken so get there early, otherwise there's loads of space further back. Site is a bit dusty.

There is a bus stop right outside on the road which takes about 10mins or an excellent cycle path. Supermarket also 100m along the road plus a few cafes.
