We were able to use acsi card€18 per night inclusive of electric. The reception kept the acsi card until departure. We stayed 8 nights. The pool was beautiful & clean. it was across the road & open 9.39 -6.30 pm.It was unsupervised. We got a front pitch nxt to sea. Generous sized & level.A little sandy but no problem for our 8m MoHo. There was sea weed in beach & hence a problem for me with sandfly so be warned. The location of the site was perfect - close to bus stop outside the gate. Close to super U market. Close to cycle path around the island. Cyclists dream. Thoroughly recommended. This site closed on 21st Sept. But the pool stayed open till closure.View all reviews by vivagibbo
Have to disagree with previous comments. Everywhere was packed on island and so we ended up here but only stayed one night!View all reviews by malhilton
Facilities were old and tired and not partucularly clean. Road noise continuous.
Commercial vehicles on site to sell burgers etc... encampment of white vans.
Beach was smelly with sandflies. WiFi very poor and paid for as an extra.
Reception staff were very good and helpful.
Review for the campsite not the aire. Nice pitches. Toilets and showers a bit basic but function ok and water hot enough. All servuces fine. Right next to the sea with access gates through to the coast path. Plenty of trees and birdsong. We paid 18 euro for motorhome two people and electric with ACSI card.View all reviews by juliamaeclark
Need 2 reviews here really! There is an aire at the entrance to the camping. €13.90 & 3 for water or €17 with ACSI in the campsite, no question which was best! We stayed in the aire the first night as we arrived too late. Then moved on to the site, great pitches plenty of toilets, showers and great access to beach. Good swimming pool nice temperature. Good cycling, bus to La Rochelle. Very pleasant staff.View all reviews by taylornewtonfarm
Why people stayed for 4/5 nights on the aire beats me! First time here and we'll be back.
Excellent little Aire outside the campsite overlooking the beach. facilities inside the aire are e3 for 20 minutes (waste, toilet emptying and up to 100 litres of fresh water. If you enter the aire you have 45 minutes to use the facilities and exit if that is all you need.e2 extra for a day pass to use toilets and showers in the camp as often as you wish that day. With ACSI card it is the same price to park in the camp with all facilities available.View all reviews by watty
Great little aire next to the beachView all reviews by mikeretallick
We love this site. Just off the bridge close to shops and town. Very friendly site, will definitely stay again. Thank you.”View all reviews by andyrev
ACSI site set amongst trees, with gates onto the coastal path & beach. Clean facilities, small onsite shop, bus stop just outside camp. Aire outside main entrance.View all reviews by badger5
Nice spot next to beach, long walks with dog possible. Small village nearby with all the shops. Emptying facilities, but no electric available when we were here in November 2014. Located just over the bridge from the mainland. Only cost about 7 euros in November 14.View all reviews by samwillis17
