Situated just outside the historic market town of Appleby which is famous for the Appleby horse fair held in June.
We are open all year round and have approximately 1 acre of lawned grass for you to pitch before relaxing and enjoying the stunning views over the Pennines. The facilities we have are electric hook ups, a washroom including WC, a local information board, chemical disposal and recycling.
Fishing is available a short walk away on the River Eden and there are several footpaths for you to explore. One of which is to the village of Sandford which has a pub that serves food. A short distance away is Cafe 66 which offers a selection of good home cooked meals and cakes
