Really good site. Here on March 10. Cost 17.90 Euros. Decent sized gravel and grass pitch, with 16amp 3-pin hook-up and water tap. Access to the showers via fob, which also operated the barrier. Showers were push button but warm enough. No seats on toilets, but paper provided. Clean and well maintained site. Peaceful night’s sleep. Easy walk into Rochefort centre and main square with quite a few bars, restaurants and shops open. Massive Eleclerc store 1.5km away. Would definitely use again.View all reviews by Valauvent
Decent site. Spacious, fairly flat gravel pitches, bordered by hedges and mature trees for shade. Each pitch has EHU, drinking water and TV aerial point. Very busy even in October. Some road noise during the day (especially at the front of the site), but to be expected as you are within the city itself.View all reviews by strinesian
Friendly welcome and taken to spacious pitch. Flat gravel.View all reviews by explorerdora
EHU, tv point and water on the pitch.
15 minutes walk to L’hermione.
This is a great municiple campsite with great facilities for all. The shower blocks are good & clean, locked mobile phone charging point (mainly for campers) large marquee to eat in, micro wave ovens & play area for young children.View all reviews by carpetbagger
Food vans also visit the campsite 2 or 3 evenings a weeks as well.
A large supermarket & petrol station down the road and short ride into town and harbour area where there is so much to see & do.
There is a great market in town everyday well worth the visit.
Also worth a visit is the transporter bridge currently undergoing repairs, cross the river on the little ferry and visit the museum to the left.
This really is a good site especially for a municipal. The pitches are laid out in a sort of terrace style around a lake. All facilities are available and the toilet block is hotel quality. You do have to go through the front gate to access the MH service point as this is also available to passers by. There is a leisure area which includes bathing which we didn't try as we only stayed 1 night alas!. Will definitely put this on the return list!.View all reviews by grahamh1
Very clean and well kept campsite with helpful staff who speak good English. The pitch sizes are generous and each pitch has water and electric points. The site has lots of trees which give good shade.View all reviews by mikeretallick
