This is a really nice site particularly the river side pitches. Facilities all good but take care re access. If you are over 3m you must access via the deliveries entrance. We trusted a camper sat nav linked to What3words and still ended up with sweaty palms when approaching from the south. The What3words for the correct junction for the site is: ///pampers.urgency.indecisive Drive down Rue Gontrand Royer past the Aire and turn right just before the 3m arch under the main road.View all reviews by simonann

We've just stayed two nights on a riverside pitch, which is well worth the extra money (the non riverside pitches look a little cramped and on top of each other with no view and not much breeze). Our pitch is literally on the river, the view is incredible. Our pitch is a little narrow but we managed to get on so our sliding door looks out onto the river. The facilities are good and clean. The campsite is a 3min walk from the town. Highly recommend.View all reviews by cassbrownridge

we just had 5 nights, sray on this site. nice clean facilities minutes from a medieval town nice shops and eating places. lovely swimming pool and activities for the children. nice views and walks. we will return. you choose your own pitch when you arrive a little stressful as every pitch we chose it was pre booked, so a lot of walking to and from reception.View all reviews by Mischiefmaker

Lovely site, which is essentially on an island. We were led to the back entrance with no height restrictions. (Follow the signs for the aire. Drive past the aire (which actually looks ok), over a bridge. Great for cycling the area and plenty of lovely places to eat and drink in the town. Things are only just starting to come to life at the beginning of May and i am not sure it woukd be on our list as a main season site, as there are also dozens of static tents and cabins, but then we usually look for quiet spots, without children! €12 extra for a river pitch. There is a wier close by, so the water is rushing and not tranquilView all reviews by ldobingw

Really liked this site. Imagine spacing good even if busy. Easy wheelchair access into pretty village (5 mins). Decent disabled showers.View all reviews by roamer62

Lovely site for exploring Beaulieu sur Dordogne. Riverside pitches are worth the extra cost, are bigger and are a mix of shade/open plots. We visited mid September and some of the site was closed off, 2 of the 3 sanitary blocks were closed and the bar/restaurant shuts down end August due to low season. Bread can still be ordered from reception and staff are very friendly and helpful. Compost area in middle of site but rubbish/recycling on other side of site. MH service point is near reception. Sanitary block is clean with plenty of hot water and laundry area attached. Town is lovely and has plenty bars/restaurants, little shops, lots of history and nice walks along the river.View all reviews by Parkyardigans

Lovely, natural site with excellent facilities. Numerous access points to river regardless of whether you get a riverside pitch or not. The 3m height restriction is the wooden "bridge" in the photos. Our van is 2.97m, so we drove slowly and had no problem. If you're over 3m, I've posted a pic of the campsite map that shows the alternative entrance. To reach that, follow the signs for the Aire, drive through the Aire and there's a Huttopia sign to turn right BEFORE the stone archway, so that never comes into play. Lovely village. Cross the weir bridge from the campsite to the recreation area for swimming, kayaking, picnicking on the gorgeous Dordogne. €52 pn MH+2+EHUView all reviews by Wallygway

A lovely site. We chose to not use ACSI & had a riverside pitch which was a lovely treat. Saw a Kingfisher. Good hot, clean showers and washrooms. Easy walk/ cycle into town with plenty of choice for food. Lovely cycle along the Dordogne to Brivezac & back along the other riverside. Bread can be ordered at reception, pool was open but cafe/bar is closed in the week. If your height is over 3m you need to. Contact the site for the alternative entrance.View all reviews by pryan

Dont bother getting a riverside pitch. It will cost you more and it seems anyone can just walk over and through to get to the river. Apart from that, a great site in a great location. We are moving on early due to the rudenessView all reviews by lisabgbr

This is a beautful site, great location, only about a an eighth full on touring pitches. Lots of pre errected accomadation in safari tents all unoccupied. Lovely pool not busy. We had a river side pitch which you cant use acsi for but it was beautiful.View all reviews by Heidiclark
