This enchanting site is situated at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds, fringing the National Trust Gunby Estate. On the south side, there’s natural wildlife ponds attracting an abundance of wildlife that call it home. Ducklings popping in and out of their houses, squirrels scampering, woodpeckers tapping, dragonflies hovering, swifts and bats feeding on the wing! Even the odd kingfisher snapping up a stickleback! While walking about the ponds, chance upon ‘the sunset gazebo’ overlooking far reaching views of the Wolds and adjacent grazing cattle, big skies and stunning sunsets, a heavenly spot to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening, whilst listening to the call of the resident tawny owl.
