You are 1/2 mile from cycle tracks that take you through to Lancaster, Morecambe, Heysham, The Crook of Lune and Carnforth without having to go anywhere near cars as the cycle track goes through off road. You can go into Glasson Docks where there are a couple of shop doing the usual tea, coffee and meals as well as a shop selling newspapers etc.
