Even in mid January this is a busy site. The site itself is nothing special, but the area around it is incredible. Fabulous for bird watching- including flamingoes. Lots of paths for walking and cycling. Midweek the reataurant is open for lunch only, but its open on the weekends for lunch and dinner, with lots of fresh seafood straight from the delta. If you’re a fan of raw oysters, they are not to be missed. An incredible spot for watching the sunset. Very reasonable priced drinks too.
Grey and black water dumping and “fresh” water (we were cautioned it was probably best not to drink it) cost €3 but was only availible from 10 - 1pm.
Stayed for 3 nights to enjoy the area.

What a lovely area to park. Good wifi from restaurant if you have a wifi booster. Great for cycling and for watching birds. Decent walks for dogs. There were 70 vans parked overnight when we were there, very popular.

A great place to stop. Even the largest motorhomes can be accommodated. As said in other reviews services are available for 3 euro.

We stayed here so we could go cycling and birdwatching. It was amazing. The area is fantastic. I probably wouldnt stay in this site again as the restaurant wasnt open, and the water was only available for an hour each day. The chap would stand by the water tap and take €3 off each person that tried to empty toilets, fill bottles, or do anything that involved water. He’d just stand there and stare at you. It was a bit weird. The area is amazing though.

Located within the Parc Naturel Delta de l'Ebre (Ebro) this is an easy to access site, if not a little distant. Marked pitches on shingle of a good size. Lots of mosquitos, amazing variety of birdlife and more rice fields than you can shake a stick at! Restaurant within the complex is good value for money. Excellent access to cycle trails. Downside was thro' the night the sounding off of gas powered 'bird scarers' which made it seem like we were trying to sleep on the edge of a battlefield!

Lovely location on the delta, with variety of birdlife. Flat, marked pitches. Cycling and walking routes abound. Can be windy as quite exposed.

Great location for cycling and walking. Also great for longer motorhomes as some sites highlighted for those towing! €3 for using water and waste plus CDD. Only available before 1pm. Can buy baguette at restaurant close by. There are toilets open during the day by the kiosk. Lovely place to spend a few days. The Aire is large but fulls up quickly.

Spent a few nights here. Quiet location, only quarter full in January. Can be windy as exposed. Brilliant for birdwatching; the lagoon in which flamingoes are feeding, is only across the road. Got bread from the café and had a delicious but pricey meal at the restaurant.

What a fabulous place! Saw Buzzards, heron, storks and all sorts of other birdlife. The pitches are completely free and very generous in size. There is grey waste (free) but a small fee for black waste and fresh water (3 euros). Plenty of bins including recycling. No toilets but toilets inside the bar/restaurant which is open from early until late and is fantastic for quality food and drink. Can't wait to go back.

Excellent site if you want outdoor activities and natural parkland. Free overnight stop, €3 to empty and fill (accessed via the restaurant). Lots of waterways and near a lake with flamingos - the whole area is a birdwatcher’s paradise. Popular spot, with lots of motorhomes and tourist groups. Very flat, ideal for cyclists. Decent-sized plots on gravel. Most units had tables and chairs out. Restaurant is good, but in February they said they close at 6 pm except weekends. Near full in winter.

Big parking area, now with marked bays of good size. Gets busy, was 3rd to half full on a January weekday.
Bright floodlights at night on the buildings, so if you want darkness you're better off at the far end, although you'll miss out on their WiFi.

Have visited here many times and always enjoy the peace and quiet and the bird life . Fresh bread available from the restaurant and free wifi. Lovely cycle round the delta which is teaming with wildlife , about 10 km and flat .Bar in the local village has the cheapest drinks we have come across in Spain, large beer and a decent glass of red €2 !

A pleasant car park with decent views of the lakes and mountains. 8 mile flat cycle ride around lake - not many flamingo's when we were here but enough to make it worthwhile. Very humid on an evening & those pesky mosquitoes & midges seem to find a way in even when everything is shut! Nice & quiet apart from a regular cannon/gun fire throughout the day and night presumably to keep creatures off of the rice. Apart from the local restaurant, there's a small village down the road with several cafe'

Large car park in a stunning locaction well worth visiting.
The only minus was that on a hot day in June it was almost unbearable as there is zero shade and it gets very dusty. Other than that it's recommended.

What an incredible place this is. After looking at campsites in Pensicola and feeling claustrophobic, this Aire is just the ticket. Although a car park, you are in the middle of a natural park, with toilets, facilities for €3 and cycle rides galore. If you love bird-life, then this place is worth the detour. The Delta is getting smaller as the sea takes over, so now is a good time to appreciate the very accessible flamingoes, kite surfers and other wildlife around. This is a freebie, except for the services, with an on-site restaurant and very helpful lady in the Ice cream hut. Would highly recommend this place for a couple of days stop over. Peaceful, stunning views and excellent exploration.

Our second stay at this large motorhome parking area adjacent to a Restaurant. Free to stay but 3 euros to use service point (ask at restaurant). As it is surrounded by rice fields, there can be a lot of mosquitos at dawn and dusk so take repellent. A pleasant area to spend a night or two otherwise.

Large flat free car park behind restaurant with area reserved for motorhome. Service point is locked, go to kiosk selling ice cream behind and it will be opened and water switched on for 3 euros. Best area of Deltebre for cycling and birdwatching. Nearby lake full of Flamingos. Park for day at beach 3 miles away.
