| Parking is at the commercial centre by Lidl, Leroy Merlin and Mercadona. Vehicles over 2.5t are not permitted, but no-one takes any notice. The police have been known to politely request people to leave but point out that the other side of Mercadona there is parking for 3.5t. It is tolerated because it is a popular place to stock up before getting the ferry to Morocco from Algeciras. 'Carlos's' ticket shop is now round the corner opposite Carrefour. | |

I stayed on the 3.5tn site just across the way from here. Whilst close to road and some noise, the site waa busy with people going to & from Morocco. Felt perfectly safe herean very convenient for tickets frim “Carlos” just across the road and Carrefore’s.View all reviews by carpetbagger

Large free tarmac car park outside the Norauto store on the Los Palmones shopping estate with McDonalds next door. All the major supermarkets are on the estate as well as the ticket vendor for Moroccan ferries and lots of other shops. Stayed overnight before departing for Morocco with no hassle. Note the car park next to Mercandona that is normally used for motorhomes has been cordoned off as they are doing building work there at present.View all reviews by samwillis17

Plenty of vans overnighting here on theirway to,or returning from, Morocco. We stayed in the popular area for under 2.5t as the area for 3.5t is close to the main road and too much traffic noise. We are over 3.5t, as were many others. There were signs advertising an aire a short distance away. This seems to be close but we did go there and filled up with fresh water and emptied the waste at the fuel station.View all reviews by miklin
