This is another of our favourite sites that we visit at least once per year. The location is good, walk to Henley on Thames with a good selection of shops and pubs, nice walk along the river (although you cannot walk in to town along the riverbank as part of it is privately owned) etc.View all reviews by aliflower
The site itself is large, with a variety of pitches that are well maintained. We love having a full service pitch, they are huge and well, it's just so convenient. The toilet and shower blocks are warm and clean, and it's nice to have a bit of music while you shower! There is also a cafe/bar on site which does a good selection of food and drinks if you can't be bothered to walk to town. There is a swimming pool which is paid separately, have never used it but looks nice and am sure it's popular in the warmer weather.
The welcome at this site has been consistently warm and friendly - we don't travel far to get here but if you have the last thing you want to see when you arrive at a site is a miserable face, thankfully here they understand that!
The site can get busy so check what's going on in the area (ie Henley festival is only 7 day bookings, Rewind festival gets very busy etc, you can check on their website). The tent field would also be busy then so expect both facility blocks to be busy. However if you are there off peak the pitches at the back by the tent field are ideal and give you a lovely view.
5 minutes walking distance to the lovely town of Henley on ThamesView all reviews by jeancullen
Very good site, good size pitches and very good facilities. All pitches have water, drainage and TV hook up, plus of course EHU. A 10 minute walk takes you into town. Bus stops at gate provide frequent buses, one direction, Reading, the other High Wycombe. Timetables and route map available in reception. Finally the staff are friendly and helpful.View all reviews by captgeoff
