The site has a lovely location on the lakes edge. My advice would be head down to the area past the restaurants. Much nicer and a cleaner feel. There is no getting away from the noise. You’re packed in like sardines (which is common). Our neighbours were loud, and woke us up each morning. The noise of the busy main road right outside the site is also unavoidable. If you’re a light sleeper this might not be the place for you. Bakery is lovely but does sell out. On site shop is small but has most essentials. We did a boat trip to verbania markets which was great fun. We also went to milan for the day.

Lovely site overall. Nice welcome. Pitches a bit small so feeling of being packed in as site was full. Electric not the best, had to turn everything else off to boil a 4amp camping kettle, a pain but doable. Facilities were clean and good condition. Near busy main road and cycle path very short. Boat trips to big markets worth doing. Good restaurants near the site on lakeside. Woukd stay again perhaps when less busy.

We only stayed 2 nights and called in on spec (23rd Sept) they had plenty of room. Good site and friendly staff, they let us change our pitch from the one allocated to a nicer one. The dog beach is not really a beach, only about 2 foot wide, but sandy and great for them getting in and out, can’t comment on the other beach for humans as we didnt use it. The pretty village is right outside the camp so a perfect location with a good selection of bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this camp and would visit again

Lovely campsite with friendly staff, wasnt our first choice but so glad we stayed, good sized pitches(for Italy) Lovely sandy beach with free sunbeds, good clean facilities Few restaurants and bars in walking distance Only stay 2 nights as returning to uk but would definitely stayed longer Only 28 € per night

We've left after a week here. it was lovely. we were very lucky to have great people next to us too. The pool is very clean, the lake is lovely and there is a lovely restaurant just next door. the market also do fresh bread every morning too. the pitch was well shaded with the trees. We were sad to leave.

Lovely site, good, clean facilities and really helpful staff. We came during the second week of June, which is the end of the German school holidays. Consequently, the site was packed. We stayed on pitch 167c, which was advertised as 70m/sq.It was about 100m from the lake and really peaceful. The pitch has a 6amp supply, which did trip when we used some of our appliances, but only the once. We have a dog, and the rules do sound / read very regimented, but thankfully, they also have common sense. Dogs can access a small beach and lake, which was ample for our dog. Through one of the side gates, you can access the promenade that runs alongside the lake, that' got numerous restaurants.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a mh problem and they were very helpful. Dogs are allowed and can go in lake by the river. Still busy in September.

Could only stay one night. Absolutely full of german families who can get over 2 weeks holiday for 6 days leave because of national holidays. All other sites around including Megozza full up. Large pitches and great faxilities. Beach beautiful, views amazing , little town is nice small supermarket closes at 7.30. Pizza and gelato place outside the gate is good NO acsi discount till high seaosn. Expensive. €32 but stuff onsite not expensive. Washing machine €4 and good Miele washer.

Stayed down near the lake. Great site. Staff very helpfull. There are 3 more sites close by but this site is but a few metres from the village restaurants. Toilets (toilet paper and seats) and showers perfect. Will accept ACSI card but for a few euro more we went lake side. On site restaurant was worth a visit.

Just loving this site. Had good efficient welcome from 2 female desk staff. Hadn't booked but were offered several partial lake view pitches. Chose one near reception for the view, accepting it might be a bit noisier, but has not been a problem. Lake a few steps away. Site very secure. Free WiFi for one device at a time and free access to swimming pool (although we have not used it). Amenities very clean and plentiful although not here in highest season. Good price for area. Small shop. Extended initial 2 days to 6. About 2.5km to Bavena with partial cycle track, and ferries around lake plus train to Maggiore Express circular day out via train, panoramic train and boat.
