This is a great site, friendly wardens, amazing walks along the canal to Llangollen and beyond 5 min to train station and village with sufficient shops, pubs and takeaways. Situated at the bottom of the grounds of Chirk Castle, another great walk to visit this NT property.

Caravan club site with all the usual facilities. There are some pitches in the trees but most are set in an outward facing semi circle giving a nice spacious feel. Good location for canal walks, just over an hour to the famous viaduct near Llangollon and Chirk viaduct almost as impressive, just 10 mins walk away. Chirk only a very small town but all the essentials are available, a few pubs and an Indian restaurant. Train station for trips to Chester or Shrewsbury and bus service to Wrexham from the town. Also just 1.5 miles from Chirk Castle, a national trust property. Another bonus is its one of the few sites open all year.
