A lovely stop which we used on our arrival day, and the night before departure, as it is easy reach of the Hook of Holland. A large car park with no access barrier - large marked out pitches, and free electricity. Very quiet, which is amazing considering its within the town centre. Water and dumps easily accessible. Pay at meter.View all reviews by suefreemantle
Second review. We didn't leave as planned as had a slight hitch with the motorhome. I asked the parking attendant if we had to leave after 3 days and he looked puzzled and said no, we could stay as long as we liked. The 8 euros is actually for the daytime parking (9am to 9pm and overnight is free. We've come to the conclusion that electricity is free as the 2 euros we put in on the first day is still running. The library is next to the carpark and is called Chocolade Fabrica, it's open 7 days a week and the wifi is free, we've been coming upstairs to use it where it's quieter. Don't forget that most of the shops are closed Monday mornings, they open at 2pm.View all reviews by tinka
We found the pitches marked out especially for motorhomes plentiful and big enough for even large mh's. Very quiet and all services are free, although we're not sure about the electricity so we put in 2 euros and it hasn't run out yet. It costs 8 euros to stay for 24 hours which has to be paid in cash or by card. It's just a ten minute stroll to the centre of town and the tourist office is very helpful. Everyone we talked to in shops etc spoke perfect English and were happy to explain things (like what was in their delicious cakes :) etc) We got a train to Rotterdam on our last day here which was 11 euros each return, the station is about 15 minutes walk from the Klein Amerika.View all reviews by tinka
A very very popular destination. Gouda is a gem to visit. The facilites are very good and recently upgraded.View all reviews by vivo
Site is in a large car park with marked spaces specifically for motorhomes. Access is via a barrier where you collect a ticket and you need to pay at the separate booth before using the ticket to exit the car park.View all reviews by admin
Ideal located for visiting Gouda as the site is only a short walk away from the town centre. You can pay by the hour for short visits or just a van service - services are free (including the electric) There is no view as the car park is surrounded on all sides by businesses or houses, but is far enough from the main road to be quiet enough and with the barrier there is no passing traffic.
