Free buses every 8 minutes into the city centre but they stop just after 7 pm. Main area looked cramped and services looked a bit tricky to access. Quite relieved that there wasn’t a space and we had to use the overflow area. Some abusing that space by taking up 5 places and getting chairs etc. out. Just don’t, it is a car park! Hard not to take up 2 due to pitch size. Excellent facility, shame more places haven’t followed Canterbury’s excellent example.View all reviews by harveysd

Always happy to stop here prior to getting early ferry. Didnt use the bus on this occasion. Lots of non UK plates on this stop, which is good to see. Still good value for a safe & secure stopover.View all reviews by andyz99

This is the best organised park and ride and overnight experience £8 for the camping and return bus to Cambridge . Add to that The Old Gate pub which is next to the entrance where we enjoy a first class meal .There is water and toilet emptying on the motorhome area . WE arrived around 2 but when we came back at 5 there was still plenty of space on the large overspill area .We will certainly be back View has to be low there isnt oneView all reviews by christolley

Always a pleasure to stay here love the trip into Canterbury free on the bus with my little dog. I noticed Canterbury has more pubs than there was last time. Had a very nice Sunday lunch not expensive. I didn’t use Wetherspoons because you’re not allowed to take dogs in or outside. Well done Canterbury the only other park-and-ride I know that lets camper vans stay overnight is Durham. One of the things I noticed in the park-and-ride is that everybody was spread out there are no cars at night.View all reviews by chicochad

2nd time, excellent again! Visited Canterbury on the included bus this time. Wow what a lovely city! The Wetherspoons is great and very friendly, the cathedral lets you in for free at 16:30 every day and is amazing. Just a great overnight! Rate the view? it’s a car park!View all reviews by simondraper

Having just returned from France where nearly every village has dedicated facilities for motorhomes, we were pleasantly surprised to see that at least one council in England has seen the light. We would definitely stop here again. Cheers to Canterbury CouncilView all reviews by viragogoose

Stayed one night ahead of catching dover-calais crossing. Arrived 7pm, and found space in overflow area. Most mhomes parked with clear space between each other in overflow (main mhome area crammed like sardines). Emptied grey and black waste and topped up water for showers. Aire is in main mhome area so was a little tight to turn as all spaces taken. Some looked like they’d been there a while but quiet night, limited noise from folk leaving at early hours dor ferry. Pay at the pay station at bus stop before leaving.View all reviews by debbie4545
