well nice clean site and close to bars ,shop,beach..good shop on site in reception and shower/ toilet block was kept clean..site was kept clean and tidy with night watchman plus back gate coded so very secure and safe
1 dogs off leads small & big never policed by site workers
2. nightmare pitches to reverse in due to long termers thinking they own the place
3.high season the pool would be a nightmare not very big
4.pitches 1 to 8 on front right on highway .i was pitch 1 right by the toilet waste and god it smelt morning til night of peoples waste.
5.stay again yes if i could get a long termers spot because they are treated like gods
Well, high expectations here due to an exhorbitant £32 per night for one motorhome and 2 adults on 1st March for 7 nights. Good 16amp ehu, tv point (didn’t use) and water/grey all on fair sized pitch. Showers and wc all modern and in reasonable order but noted mould all over shower ceiling. Main gripe only one wc emptying point for whole site and swimming pool very, very small. Great location on beach but imo over priced for this time of year. As site was completely full however then I guess they can charge what they like and get away with it!View all reviews by FantasticAndrea
Beware - Arrived and told €37 a night! checked online and they had an offer for €18.60 a night. I stood there and booked two nights on my phone for €36 plus €12 for the dogs. site has a lovely pool area, direct access to the beach, laundry at a reasonable price and lovely toilets and showers. The restaurant looks lovely however the food was the worst we have had since we left the U.K., lamb skewer was tough and so salty it was inedible - gave it to the dogs, the four cheese tagliatelle totally overwhelmed by blue cheese flavour. A short walk left along the beach- there are a number of excellent restaurants. don’t expect golden sands, the beach is more like grey gravel.View all reviews by dibspl
As said before this site is right on the beach so cannot be faulted for location. Toilets/showers superb. The downsides are that the site is very scruffy and around each pitch lots of weeding needs to be carried out. Hedges need trimming. This site is not cheap. We are paying €31 per night in March, no ACSI taken. Plus €3 for a dog, €3 for an awning. If your car won’t fit on the pitch then another €1. Saying that it is nearly full so maybe thats the driver here.View all reviews by HappyWanderers
This site needs a lot of attention to compete with others. Expected far more to be honest for the money.
We have just arrived, GSP is wrong in the heading, reception: N36.346230 (N36°20'46")View all reviews by Fishingman
W5.236637 (W5°14'11") I hope this helps.
Cost us €31 per night stay with dog. Amps 16 on pitch plus facilities like water/ gray waste / TV connect.
The positives are - a lovely clean and modern shower block, large pitches with water, electric and grey waste at hand, privacy due to hedging, close to the beach and walks. Also lovely bar/restaurant area and little shop. The down side (for us) - some days the shower pressure was almost non-existent, all shower heads should be replaced as they spray water everywhere except on you. Walkways for miles both ways are lovely but the beach here isn't very good. Will definitely use again if in the areaView all reviews by bdnorthumberland
Very nice site in excellant location, toilets and showers excellant, restuarant food is very good standard and resonably priced. Excellant location for walks and bike rides. We would strongly recommend if you are members of the Motorhome & Caravan club book through them, we unfortunatly didnt and our booking cost us 70€ more for 5 nights, leason learnt, but highly recommend this site.View all reviews by redcar56
Great site but expensive if staying for short periods. Facilities excellant. Ideal for walking and cycling. Stayed for one month and have already booked for next (this!) year. Really good restaurants in walking distance plus supermarket.View all reviews by kejosid
Location is great; direct access to beach and beachside walk thru to Puerta Duquesa and Sabinillas. Supermarkets located 5 minutes walk from campsite (across busy dual carriageway - recommend you use road crossing bridge). Site is well looked after. The bar and restaurant onsite are good and entertainment was provided at weekends even though we were there out of season. Facilities are also good; cleaned regularly and soap and hand dryers provided next to handbasins. Showers also ok although water temperature can vary a bit. Pitches of a reasonable size and most very shady which is probably great in summer but not so good in cooler weather. English is spoken at reception.View all reviews by DenS
What a find! Spacious pitches, immaculate facilities, a small pool, and the beach on your doorstep! We were struggling to find a site on the Costa del Sol with good reviews, but this site ticked all our boxes. There are several chiringuitos within a few minutes walk, and the boardwalk directly accessed from the site goes all the way to Duquesa and beyond, where there are numerous restaurants and bars. Fab sea views from many pitches. The beach isnt great, very coarse, gritty sand and a steep drop off to the water, but there if you want it. The restaurant has entertainment some nights, and weekly specials, although we didn’t eat there. We came for 3 nights and stayed for 11.View all reviews by markcopleston
We first visited in December 2013 with a month's booking. We enjoyed it so much we stayed 6 months and have returned every winter for up to 9 months each time. The pitches are tight for a 9m motorhome. The nearby village of Castillo has some excellent restaurants and bars. Beyond is Duquesa again with many excellent bars and restaurants. The site facilities are first class with a laundry and spotless showers. The restaurant and bar serve excellent food. Situated with a beach frontage.View all reviews by scotchjock
Superb facilities but completely bland. Regimented pitches with probably 90% plus long term Brits in Oct. Surounding area nothing to write home about. Beach, course sand with big drop off as soon as you enter the sea.View all reviews by ed463
Avoid the beach bar just to the left as you leave the site. Extremely poor value and uninspiring food.
Avoid the right hand side of the site as you look out to sea. Stagnant water = mosi's
A fabulous spot right on the beach side with a prom to walk or cycle down to the marina where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Onsite restaurant and bar not badly priced. Very clean facilities.View all reviews by debs611
Excellent campsite in great position. Some pitches have sea views. All have water, waste and electricity points. Facilities block at entrance to campsite along wit bar and restaurant - not used so can't comment. Pedestrian gate at bottom of campsite for access to beach and sea front walk to town, restaurant aplenty on the way. Some pitches (mainly those with views!) are on long lease.View all reviews by blondel
Pool is small for swimming but handy for a cooling dip.
Unfortunately while we were there we had some very noisy neighbours who didn't like to go to bed until dawn! Despite complaints from many on the site the management did nothing to stop this.
We moved pitch and lost the view - gained some road noise but at least we were able to sleep before 5 am.
Quite an expensive site but worth it for position and facilities.
Great site right on the beach good facilities pitches are quote close sort walk to a lovely port with good bars and restaurants .View all reviews by martinsfx
A very pleasant and well laid out site except for the facilities that can be a long way from your pitch if you are on the lower levels, toilets and showers are 5star, go transport outside site for visiting local areas.View all reviews by robarb38
Excellent private beach at rear entrance and a short walk to the local amenities, bars/restaurants/shops.
