Great spot. We stayed in the smaller car park in our 6.7m MoHo and had no problems with size. We had a meal in the Sand Bar which was fine. Will use again

Storm Lorenzo heading towards Cornwall so after visit to Lands end we made a run for Praa Sands.
Only 2 Moho here including us.
Quiet place just the Stormy sea crashing.
Fantastic view and brilliant sunrise.
No 3 network but our lass had no problem on vodaphone.
Lovely long beach for the dogs to run and stretch their legs.

Would definitely come again

Get here mid to late afternoon for a great spot overlooking the beach. £8 for 24hrs is a bargain and the Sandbar, open until 23:00, for food and drunks just tops off this great location. Thoroughly recommended and wouldnt have found it without the app.

great place to stay for 24 hours or more, no facilites apart from local toilets. car park get very busy in the summer so park near the exit if youre planning on leaving the following morning. if youre lucky enough to get on the front row you have fab views over the beach and sea

Stayed for 2 nights over bank holiday weekend. We had no problem with mobile signal as per last review. Staff really friendly & helpful. Disappointed to see a motorhomer emptying black waste in public loo despite clear signs asking thst we don't as no mains drainage ☹️. Great stopover, beautiful views & fab breakfast in beach cafe.

I dropped in here this week but didn't stay as there is no mobile signal. I know some people with be happy with that, but I need a signal for work purposes. The car park was big and clean with direct access to the beach and hot food etc.

Fantastic stop over. Great views, level and public loos open 24/7. Quiet in January (3mohos) but could get busy in summer. Cafe and pub 10 yards.

surfers best view at front of car park but quieter with a bit of grass at rear all parking charges still correct overnight stay 1 other motorhome and 2 campers lots of dogs on beach as was out of season

Very frienly and helpful staff on site. Stunning views as directly over looking the beach. Toilet facilites fairly close by (though we didn’t need them). Local pub on the beach about a 2 ninute walk from carpark offering a good choice of food as well as a take away menu. Highly recommend.

what a lovely spot stopped 2 nights on lower car park best spot next to toilets and pub,has an outside shower to wash sand off from lovely beach .toilets open 24 hours.honesty box on front wall so please leave a small donation else they will close them.

This is a private car park and a great place to overnight, overlooking the sea and beach from the upper car park. £8 for 24 hours. £5 for 12 hours. Attendant was really helpful and cheerful. No facilities although toilets in lower car park. Safe swimming area marked out and surf boarding etc. Cornwall Council look and learn how it is done.

Cheeky little night at Praa Sands private car park, overlooking the beach. If you want to let everyone know that you are not from these 'ere parts, pronounce it (sounds like) "bra." If ya'a canny lad pronounce it like "pray!"
Situated on just off the Helston to Penzance Road, access is via a "narrowish" access road, with plenty of passing spaces for even a numpty like me. The binmen got down there at 9 this morning.
Absolutely nothing there apart from the coast path and the beach, which is why I loved it !
Word of warning from a local-just be aware if walking on the beach on an incoming spring tide. Looks the sort of place you could get cut off with nowhere to go.
Parking was 8 quid, for 24hours, a fiver for 12 qhich I thought was good. The traffic wardens are enthusiastic, even on a wet Monday morning in March.
This place will be rammed in the school hols.
Checked out nearby Long rock car park near Maraziom. Super location, £1 for 24 hours. Chatted to one of the locals, tells me that the site was designed for overnighters, but overnighters are banned !! (Cornwall Council mentality)
His advice was "when the warden's sniffing round at 7 in the morning,
Don't be a scratching and a yawning !
