Fromebridge Mill is set in picturesque surroundings beside the River Frome, on the edge of Whitminster Village. You approach the pub down a sweeping driveway and are met by floral displays with wall and hanging baskets. There is a big mill pond and waterwheel to the side with wildlife in abundance to see. Three riverside gardens provide ample seating to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings in the summer time.

Lovely place for an overnight stop. We rang on the way down to check we could stay and qlso take our dog inside. Dogs are welcome and we were asked to make a £5 donation to charity to stay which is fine. Had dinner and a drink in the pub, staff were lovely. Location is beautiful, right on the river with a footpath along it which we had an early morning walk along. Highly recommend it

Five minutes from M5 briliant for a stopover travelling to cornwall. Big level carpark all they ask is for a £5 donation to charity. Food and drinks as you’d expect from a chain. We’ll definately use again

What a superb stop off site. Staff at the Mill were very helpful and friendly. We were asked to make a £5 donation to Macmillan Cancer which we happily did. The car park was flat with views over the river and fields. Nice nearby walks.
Food in the pub was average to fair but setvice was a bit slow, in part due to the Covid19 restrictions.
We stayed on a Saturday night and was awoken by a Sunday car boot sale being set up around us! This made it awkward to get out and we had not been forwarned!
Yes, we will return.

Set back from the A38 down a 300mt driveway in a wonderful setting is the refurbished old mill on a small river. Very picturesque.
Good and reasonable priced food and drinks. Good and level hardstanding pitching areas. Nice quiet night.

This is literally 1 minute off J13 M5 (current changes to roundabout means you need to look harder for turning, straight after roundabout.) So very convenient.

There is a large car park, we stopped overnight at the farthest right side with great views over the river & fields. Aside from background traffic noise, it was really quiet.

We decided to stay for breakfast after going for a walk and ate outside overlooking the river.

Overall food was very good value, friendly staff, the drinks being a little more pricey (but then we probably drank too much!)

Ideal place for overnight stop, just 2 minutes from M5, a great pub restaurant with large car park for overnighting. But as well as being very convenient, turned out to be a wonderful pub. Excellent food, good helpings, good value. The staff were lovely, so friendly and helpful. Is a converted old mill, interesting building with lots of old machinery, with canal running along front of the mill. Can't recommend too highly.

This is great for a stopover just minutes off the M5. Yes you can hear road noise and there is a bit of pub traffic but it was quiet after closing time. We used the pub, carvery was OK but was a bit overcooked. Dog allowed in a section of the bar. It was very busy when we went as there was a charity quiz night. We phoned ahead to check it was OK to stop, no charge but they like you to buy a drink or a meal.

Very handy, just off the M5. Staff were very friendly. Plenty of room - as well as myself and 2 friends (3 vans) there were another 2 vans but we were well spread out in the overflow parking - on the right as you go in. Restaurant was very busy because it was Father's Day but they still fitted us in and we had a lovely carvery. Reg the dog enjoyed watching the rabbits hopping about outside the van and there was plenty of space available for walking him. The mill is a very interesting building.

2 mins from the M5, perfect overnight 'wildcamp' stop. Friendly staff, no problem parking ("go wherever you want, my love") - large, flat car park, privacy no problem. Good food (carvery or extensive menu) & beer. No facilities outside pub, but hey, it's free!

Friendly staff made us feel very welcome. Seemed no pressure to eat but we did. Good pub grub. The carvery looked amazing and very popular. We opted for food off the menu. Tasty and filling and good value. Large hardsanding area to park. Room for large mohos. Less than a mile from m5. Lovely walks direct from car park. Saw several dog walkers. See photos. Only facility was the pub so r
ated that!!

Picked this location from 'searchforsites' as convenient to the M5 J13 which is exactly what it is at less than a mile.
The member of staff that we spoke to made us most welcome and confirmed the freedom to park overnight in the car park. To eat we had the excellent carvery for £5.99 each and may well be back another night to sample more of the menu.
I have marked the facilities down as there are non motorhome specific.

This is very easy to find, it’s the second roundabout off junction 13 off M5, it has its own exit on the roundabout. It was very busy when we arrived about 3pm on Sunday afternoon. It was £8.99 for the carvery normally £5.99 midweek. The carvery was plentiful and very nice but the atmosphere was very busy/noisy with a lot of children/ young families there, which meant food on the floor etc. Not the relaxed meal we had hoped for but I suppose at those prices it was to be expected.

Cracking place the mill bits appear to be quite intact and worth a view. Staff are magic but busy. Carvery is good value and treats are free for 4 legged friends! If you are ex military speak to chap with vet badge on his whites. Huge empty lit parking at night. Had company of Avon Police helicopter to light up the countryside at 2am. but otherwise really worth a visit and its Green King chain. Be polite and ring ahead though. Countryside views of cows, garden ctr top of hill worth visit.

As other reviewers have said, very handy when journeying north or south as close to A38 and M5. We wanted to go to Slimbridge just five miles away so it was very handy.
We parked well away from the main carpark.
The carvery was £5.99 each and is a real bargain. A good variety of beers.
No facilities available other than use of their loo when the pub was open.

Stayed here on the way down to cornwall, as everybody else says easy to find, food is good, prices are good staff are friendly and the parking is flat. we were asked to park in the area away from the pub which was better because it was quiet. we also stayed here on our return journey...A good find

Stopped off at the Frombridge Mill Inn just 2 minutes off junction 13 M5 on route to Somerset, pitched up on large carpark over looking the river, friendly welcome from staff at the inn and a good range of ales and a good selective menu at reasonable prices , i had to go for the daily carvery at only £5.99 , awesome .... little bit of noise off the A38 all night but that didn't bother us , Good find off the searchforsites app

Lovely place to spend the night....or 2 in our case (Somerset for the day in between). Big car park, very quiet, views of river and fields. Didn't eat here but had a drink on both nights. No facilities for mohos, but obviously toilets in pub when open.

We have stayed at Fromebridge Mill a couple of times both on our way to and returning from Cornwall. It’s a lovely spot and only a few hundred yards from J13 on the M5. Fromebridge Mill has a huge carpark where they allow motorhomes to stay overnight the carpark is hard standing and lit at night; an overnight stay is on the understanding you have a meal in the pub/restaurant. The food is good, not overpriced and Fromebridge is set in some lovely countryside, I have to say there is not a lot to dislike about this place. Although there are no motorhome facilities it’s a great and safe place to stop overnight.
