Best Aire yet for location, facilities and cost. Right on the quayside along from the Cruise ship dock, so lots of boats to watch. Also next to train station for a short journey into Cork city. 10€ per night maximum 48hrs. Grey and black water emptying and a water tap. Need more if these reasonable priced stopovers.

Brilliant facility. Wish more towns had similar. 10€ is peanuts for the comfort of feeling welcome.

Lovely town and well located aire. Not sure the locals are as happy to have MHs here though as we had an egg smashed against our MH at 1am, thrown from a car. Wont be back sad as we enjoyed visiting the experiences and eating in their restaurants.

Stayed last night 21st May 18. Found it to be a great place. Two taps at service point, one to rinse your loo, one at other side with threaded end so you can use your own fitting to fill with fresh water. Well worth 10 Euro.

Great facility. Other towns need to take note.
Located right on the river it can get windy. We had to lower our satellite dish.
Comments from others about trains seem exaggerated to me. Service from Cork once an hour returning a few minutes later but noise is not excessive. The advantage of station close by for trains to Cork plus one or two attractions is much more important.
Children’s playground close by.
Cost 10€ a night but we arrived on a Sat and ticket is valid to 48 hrs later on Mon

Good place for overnight stay but dissapointed fo find that we could not refill our water tank. It’s an oval tap so even a rubber clamp hose attatchment would not fit. Great views and an easy walk into town. Some noise during evening but not too intrusive. No plastic or cardboard recycling bins. Overall good value for money.

Parked up for lunch but didn’t stay longer due to firing range practice in the naval base opposite and 2 gun-shy dogs!! However looked a good overnight spot and good value at 10 euros inc facilities. Would recommend.

51.846797, -8.309349 Full service aire overlooking the harbour. Services free - black and grey waste emptying, water filling a challenge but possible due to type and position of tap. Parking 10 euros / 24 hours. Interesting heritage town. From here we visited Cork by train, station five minutes’ walk away, 10 euros / 25 minutes.

Stayed for 2 nights. Amazing view across the harbour and easy walk to the train station for a trip into Cork. Cobh is a lovely town with fascinating history including being the last stop for passengers boarding the Titanic. Biggest negative was the amount of dog poop you have to negotiate on the footpaths.

Nice site in an interesting place.
Good views across the bay, and the town seems nice too. Can see it being quite claustrophobic if you coincide with one of the big cruise liners in dock.
If you need privacy then be aware the path along the front is very busy during the day.
We paid 10eur on Saturday and the ticket was valid until Monday morning.
Anything over 8m will overhang the parking bays.

Great spot, beautiful views. Short walk into town, under 10 minutes, with plenty of shopping, eating, drinking and history especially titanic history. Exact change needed in new pay machines 10 euro for 24 hours. Still very good value. Our neighbours had take away delivered to the van. Also train available into Cork city, less than 5mins walking to station

Follow motor home parking signs as you enter Cobh. There are 30 numbered pitches on level tarmac. Water, chemical waste and refuse bins available. Free stay for up to 48 hours. Town is 5 minute walk away. Cruise liners dock just down from pitches. Seal watching and fishing can be done from Tayside.

Stayed here a few times, It's a nice place to stop. 15-20 Bays just for Motorhomes but if the bays are full just use the carpark. No facilities but it's a short walk to the heritage centre where there are toilets and a café. Catch the train from the heritage centre into Cork. Fish from the carpark and watch your rods from inside the van! Good pubs and shops
