Very helpful and accommodating is Karl Caravan (as named by the locals). Rained loads so he called us to let us know pitch waterlogged however he accommodated us on a hard standing pitch. Such a nice man and so helpful. Recommended places to go. We did a 9 mile north coastal path route (Cemaes-Amwlch) -challenging but exhilarating. 2x showers/toilets. Clean facilities. Def come back. Thanks.

Friendly owners, lovely quiet site, we were the only ones on site. £20 with EHU and WiFi. Only 1 toilet and 1 shower but spotlessly clean. Flat grass pitches but well drained. Firepits, BBQ, chimeneer available to hire. Easy access to coastal path. Pubs, chippy and cafe within 10 minute walk. Would recommend.

Tranquil and homely.. This site is small and friendly with fantastic spotless facilities. The owners are fabulous and chatty making for a relaxed environment. We especially loved the security for children. If you want a site away from noise and all the madness of life then this is the place to go.

Arrived here to a very warm welcome from the owners Mick and Val + their 2 lovely dogs and were immediately given a welcome pack of leaflets detailing local attractions and services. There are 5 grass only pitches 4 with electric hook up and each has its own water tap. Although its grass only the owners have spent much time and effort digging out and installing drainage around the whole area making it very firm ground so no problems with our 4 tonne van. There is a utility room for washing up, one toilet and one shower all very modern and spotlessly clean. Also a good chemical toilet disposal point, grey waste disposal is into the surrounding drainage ditch. Its just a short walk to the Anglesey coastal path and Amlwch port. We walked 10 miles to Cemaes Bay then returned on the local bus. This has to be one of the best small sites we have stayed at in our 11 years of motor home ownership.

This is not a full review as we have not stayed there yet but plan to do so soon. We stumbled across this place whilst staying elsewhere and were out cycling. Angelsey now has a 125 mile long coastal footpath but we are struggling to find places to stay near it. Stopped for a look outside this place and the very friendly owners came out and offered to show us around. It only has 6 grass pitches but there are good looking toilet, shower and utility room facilities in a building attached to the house. Its a short walk to join the coastal path and on the edge of the town of Almych on the port side. Prices are £5 per person + £5 for hook up so £15 per night for a couple with hook up compares well to a CL site. It is clear the owners have made a special effort to make the site appealing and we will definitely be booking in soon.
