A typical Haven Site with central facilities block incorporating bar, restaurant, games area and entertainment theatre.View all reviews by jimcampbell
Hardstanding site was only s concrete area the size of moho with grass all round. You stepped out onto grass area. There was a hardstanding access road though.
Toilet block was faur but have seen better and also worse.
The “Seaview” if the name was only visible as you entered the site.
A short walk via footpath to eastern end of Weymouth beach.
An hourly buscservice runs from on site to Weymouth. Other buses run from short walk outside the gate.
Had 2 nights at the end of Sep 2018. Had a friendly and helpful welcome at the touring reception. Were directed to the lower field, to a very large flat pitch with water and EHU. The pitch was quite bare in places as was the end of a busy season, but clean. The grass was cut as soon as pitches were vacated. Showers and toilets were spotless even with a bath in a separate room and looked quite new. Had the use of ALL site facilities at a cost of £19 for 2 nights, cheaper than a Farmers field.View all reviews by rogerg
Not the sort of site I would usually use,I went with family and grand child there's enough to keep kids occupied on site. The pitches were disappointing, advertised as hard stand and reinforced grass, the grass was in fact sand which trod into my motorhome every time I went in. They say fully serviced pitch, which they are but the water waste ehu serves two pitches and are not in the middle of the two making it along way away if you are allocated the wrong pitch. Nice area with plenty to do nearby.View all reviews by pnil
Certainly not a site we would return to. Directions tell you to go to touring site, office is closed as "they don't work here anymore" Staff at main reception appear to have no knowledge of touring site, pitches etc. After a 30 minute wait for them to 'find out" where we could go ( we had booked online and handed over documentation) we ended up on a small pitch which the campers behind us had to drive through as they were so tight the cars couldn't get passed the tents. "Fresh" water point was green and slimy, toilets not well maintained, the staff cleaning check sheet was left unsigned during our visit, toilet door often wedged open with a bin, despite having a security coded lock on it, probably to encourage the fresh air in. Definitely overpriced at £26 for a grass parking space as we certainly didn't feel like we were on a pitch.View all reviews by wefsmum
Part of the Haven group which also provides fully serviced pitches for motorhomes. Pitches are concrete with reinforced grass areas for awnings and have hedges to provide privacy. Included in the price is entertainment, restaurant, swimming pools, bar and WiFi. John the touring section wardens very friendly and helpful. The site is quite hilly and may be difficult for people with disabilities, but if you put that you are disabled on your application they will try to allocate you as near to the toilet/washing facilities. We went out of the main season and paid £92 for the week which we thought very reasonable.View all reviews by smartmover
