The parking places are narrow and we found there were lots of flies. We moved to the other side of the castle which had a much welcome breeze and less flies.
The castle is worth a look. A bit different with all the modern art installations and it is obvious a lot of money has been spent.
We took the advice of visiting Bar de Santos and it was great. The owner was lovely and we had a fun time with Google translate!

Fantastic aire literally next to the castle. All facilities clean & working. Separate taps for WC & drinking water. Aire part of €3million refurbishment of castle. €5 to visit with audio tour in English & see how a really modern twist has made castle accessible again. Amazing views from roof. Do visit Bar de Santos. Take Calle Horno from square infront of church & then turn right into Calle Pozo. No signage & looks like a house from outside but made to feel really welcome & serves great tapas.

Two adults, dog and 7.4 motorhome.
Had a very pleasant free overnight stay. Calm and quiet. Free services provided were good. Easy access and a picturesque location at the foot of the castle walls. Enjoyed leisurely walk around the village surrounding the castle. The castle is open for visits but we arrived too late, unfortunately. Would definitely stop here again.

A free aire situated on edge of small village just outside the historic castle. Room for about 5 vans, free service area including water at the entrance. Nice little village to wander around, bit exposed on hilltop so was a bit windy but otherwise a nice spot for a night. Couple of small shops in the village. Great views.

Stayed a Saturday night but did not arrive until after 22.00hrs, all the MH specific areas were taken so parked out front with 2 other MH's. Reasonable level on hard dirt. Very quiet, the village is so small it would be hard to imagine any Boy Racers etc. Only used Black and Grey water facilities which were fine. Within 5 minutes back on A3 motorway. Will definitely use again and get there earlier to as to be social with Villagers, who were friendly during early morning walkabout.

Nice stop between Cordoba and Valencia, and only 1.5miles from the Autovia. Free water and black/grey waste disposal. There are two taps, with the water supply tap being located on the opposite side to the black waste disposal. Pitches are narrow, however there is plenty of space close by if you have a larger than average rig. Picturesque little town to walk around, though we didn't see a soul.

Great little stop. The parking bays are small however we decided to park on the large piece of land next to the castle. All facilities were working and free. A small bar in the village. What more could you ask for.

Good place to stop. Level pitches but a little narrow and some have overhanging trees which caused a problem. But there is space away from the pitches. We wandered around the outside of the castle and there is a small park and football field nearby for playing. Toilet emptying clean, tap is right above it so maybe contaminated and I didn’t see another. Tank emptying is drive over and clean.

A lovely quiet aire just off the motorway. It says there are 12 pitchrs of which 7 are marked out and quite narrow. The site is high up and therefore was windy when we were there so we parked near to the castle walls.

A great stopover just off the motorway. Situated next to the castle ruins with breathtaking views. The water had been isolated at the service point, hardly surprising with the -4c temp in the middle of the night.
Very pretty village to wander round, although not many signs of life about while we were there.

New neat MH bays with service point. Great views. Couldn't see any information for entry to the Castillo. Took a walk round, tidy but all closed up. Freezing cold and strong winds but quiet night.
