A CCC CS. Well placed for visit to York. Cycle track to city centre (approx 3 miles), or bus. Unisex facilities, clean and all working. Choice of 10amp or 16amp EHU (16amp extra charge), -4C when we stayed, so, 16Amp was welcome. Just off A19, but, we did not notice significant road noise (we do live in an urban environment, so, perhaps immune to some background noise). Owner very amenable. Blacksmiths pub short walk away, and very pleasant, food Sundays only, but other options within a mile.

A small site, well situated for a trip into York. Although the buses stop early evening.

Unisex toilets and showers. Clean facilities.

Big downside is the road noise, all night. Pack ear plugs.

A super little site conveniently situated for trips into York, either via the bus or the riverside cycle path which is accessed just down the lane from the site. The toilet/shower block is unisex so not everyone's cup of tea but as it's such a small site it isn't an issue. The pitches have now been upgraded to 10 hardstanding with a few grassy tent pitches too. The only downside is that it is very close to the A road so there is a lot of traffic noise.

Smashing small site with 6 hard standings & 5 grass pitches. EHU & Unisex Toilets & Showers in a Clean well designed Block.
3 Miles into York via a 5 min walk to bus stop.
2 pubs within 15 mins walk although only one serves food.
Lovely site & continuously being improved by the Friendly & Helpful Owners.
Min 2 night stay at Weekends
