We arrived over the Easter holiday and still managed to get a 'double' pitch. The owners seem to allow this as long as no one is stuck for a space. A flat and level cyclists paradise, you can go for miles! There's an electronic back gate leading to the beach. You will need a card from reception. BTW, Wi-fi is now free and the connection is great. We found all the facilities totally acceptable and good value for money. Would definitely visit again. We booked for 3 nights and still here after 10.

Large site at least 600 pitches. Various sizes available and in low season seems you can get two together. Facilities clean and basic, set areas for outfits with dogs. Good walk out of the rear of the site to the beach. Left takes you to an area with beach bars and a promenade 25min walk. Right would eventually get you to Roquetas De Mar town roughly 40min walk.

A large campsite with many campers staying over the winter. 15 minute walk to the beach/promenade taking you into the main town. This is an ACSI site with good facilities.

Arrived and had a pleasant reception. Site offers swimming pool free wifi 16 amp 6kw per day with ACSI card for €17. The pitch was ample to put 3 MH side by side with overhead sun shades. It's not a C&C site but I don't need manicure grass. Outstanding will difinately stay again. ++++

we spent 4 nights here, we would not come back. too many units packed in tightly, we just managed to squeeze in, we have a hobby 750, a tight squeeze, like sardines, lots of facilities, but, toilets not as clean as you would expect on an acsi recommended site, showers the same. bit far to walk to anywhere, ideal if you have transport, i.e. bikes ,we did not, but camp site shop is quite good, does not rip you off, prices very fair, site has an air of shabbiness about it,lots of sandy grit about , gets everywhere.was nearly full when we were there. wi -fi i feel is overpriced, should be free for a site of this price, 17 euros per night.

This site is listed in the current ACSI book. We often have no plans as to where we are going to end up when we set off from home which we enjoy, with us being lucky enough to have retired, and sometimes you find a gem. This is one of those. We visited in February 2016, and found this to be a great site in a good position. It was €17 per night but only had 6Kw per day to play with which is not a lot. The toilets and showers were good. There is no free WIFI and to purchase it, if costs €3.50 per day which is on the high side in my opinion. It is a great base to cycle from. All the bars along the long promenade of Roquetas De Mar offer free tapas with every drink you purchase, which as you are probably aware is the traditional way that tapas is offered in Spain. Despite sitting in beach front cafe bars with stunning views, their prices are very reasonable. For example, 4 large beers, in frosted glasses and 4 tapas our our choice came in at just €8.80. Amazing. The prom is so long, one day we rode 17 miles and still didn't take it all in!

We have a Facebook page that records our travels - if you search on Facebook for Betty Bolero and "like" the page, you can scroll down to find photos and write ups for this area if you fancy taking a look. the further down the page you go, the older the posts - just carry on until you find the date(s) we were here. Hope you find this useful. Here is a link to some drone footage I shot in Roquetas De Mar.... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6F9PNVWScK0&feature=youtu.be
