great spot very peaceful. toilet in sports hall kept spotless. didn't use shower but suspect cold.
we paid by internet very easy.
at the moment they are digging up the village so you are re routed around even smaller back streets. maybe problem for large units.
we tried to drive to Cain for gorge walk but far too narrow road.
stayed the night the move to other side of gorge.
10 euro

Great site in a wonderful scenic location. €10 collected in the evening by Conchi - a very helpful lady who is full of advice on where to go walking etc. EHU, grey water disposal and fill up included as is good free wi-fi. Toilets in sports hall open 24 hours, shower also but only cold water. Buses not available out of season to take you to the start of the gorge walk. Fabulous walks nearby and a pretty village nearby with a couple of restaurants. Would use this site again.

A great stop in fabulous surroundings. The mountain rescue helicopters land in the field behind and were very busy one day when we were there in July as the clouds had covered the tops of the picos very quickly. Could be a little tight getting through the small village if you are in a big unit. The price is advertised as 8€ but it was 10€ per day and a council official comes around collecting the money. Not many places in the picos to dump and refill, so very handy.

Wonderful mountain views from this well run site. Lady comes round to take money in the evening, very friendly and helpful. Good services, plus cold showers and toilets in the adjacent sports hall. Picnic benches, some pitches slightly sloping, bars in town, and great base for exploring the area. Driving down to Caín is a little hairy, but parking is available in farmers fields there to do Cares Gorge Walk.

We stayed here for two nights in September 2015. The site fees were collected by hand one evening and we had a chat about the site. Its very new and is in the perfect position to take a bus from the town square a short walk away to the top of the George walk down the valley. . . which is one of the best scenic walks in Europe. Busy in season and weekends so try to do the walk midweek and out of season.

The toilets are a tad grubby and the other end of a sports hall but the location and convenience of being a short stroll from the town makes up for it.
