Stunning aire. Will have electricity and water to each generous pitch. Excellent taxi service by Conchi who speaks good English and does guided trips to the Garganta Divina gorge €40 round trip. Will take you there with stop offs for viewpoints and then collect you after you have walked. +34 675 45 27 73. Will definitely returnView all reviews by tessab
This has to be the best aires ever. now can hold 50 vans, all have ehu and water. views are stunning, money collected at about 2000hrs this is well worth the wining roads to get thereView all reviews by lapzer
Fabulous location and agree with previous comments re using Conchie, she provides an excellent service to the Gorge walk and back. The aire has been much enlarged to about 35 pitches. Only negative is it is still work in progress and lower pitches still not connected to electric and water. Price still the same though at €10. All in all great aire and lovely village, had everything been workin would have been 10 stars all the way.View all reviews by adiel
Unfortunately the aire is closed as they are making improvements to the car park. According to the website it was due to re-open at the end of May but it was still all dug up mid June. There is an alternative offered in the next village:View all reviews by aliparrott3
‘Provisionally a new car park has been enabled in the town of Cordiñanes, next to the Mill. At the entrance to this town, signs have been placed with the indication "El Molino Parking" to signal access to this new temporary area’.
We drove to the car park but didnt stay. It’s 1.5 miles up the narrow road to Cain but we managed ok in our 6.9m motorhome. It’s a huge car park with beautiful views but no services.
Great location, stunning scenery, beautiful drive even with a beast of a motorhome! Only problem is getting wifi to work....but really, who cares!View all reviews by gitana

we paid by internet very easy.
at the moment they are digging up the village so you are re routed around even smaller back streets. maybe problem for large units.
we tried to drive to Cain for gorge walk but far too narrow road.
stayed the night the move to other side of gorge.
Great site in a wonderful scenic location. €10 collected in the evening by Conchi - a very helpful lady who is full of advice on where to go walking etc. EHU, grey water disposal and fill up included as is good free wi-fi. Toilets in sports hall open 24 hours, shower also but only cold water. Buses not available out of season to take you to the start of the gorge walk. Fabulous walks nearby and a pretty village nearby with a couple of restaurants. Would use this site again.View all reviews by lynnspain
A great stop in fabulous surroundings. The mountain rescue helicopters land in the field behind and were very busy one day when we were there in July as the clouds had covered the tops of the picos very quickly. Could be a little tight getting through the small village if you are in a big unit. The price is advertised as 8€ but it was 10€ per day and a council official comes around collecting the money. Not many places in the picos to dump and refill, so very handy.View all reviews by tessie481
Wonderful mountain views from this well run site. Lady comes round to take money in the evening, very friendly and helpful. Good services, plus cold showers and toilets in the adjacent sports hall. Picnic benches, some pitches slightly sloping, bars in town, and great base for exploring the area. Driving down to Caín is a little hairy, but parking is available in farmers fields there to do Cares Gorge Walk.View all reviews by ratoncantabria
We stayed here for two nights in September 2015. The site fees were collected by hand one evening and we had a chat about the site. Its very new and is in the perfect position to take a bus from the town square a short walk away to the top of the George walk down the valley. . . which is one of the best scenic walks in Europe. Busy in season and weekends so try to do the walk midweek and out of season.View all reviews by squiddlydiddly
The toilets are a tad grubby and the other end of a sports hall but the location and convenience of being a short stroll from the town makes up for it.
