A great free parking spot right opposite the old town on the banks of the Danube. Huge parking lot with plenty of space for any type of vehicle and no marked bays. Walk over the nearby bridge or take a tram to the old town which is charming and much smaller than some other capital cities, so an easy stroll around. Plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and a Lidl in walking distance. Spent 2 nights here overlooking the river/town. Great spot.

Great big free place. Lots if space. Over bridge turn left for old town or turn right along ruver fir new toirist bars and cafes. Boats parked on river turn into bars and discos at night so prepare for noise uf you are near them.
Bratislava can be seen in a day. Old town is pricey.

Stayed one night; the views are terrific and very convenient to walk into town - 10 mins over the Stary most Bridge and then back over the UFO bridge along the river. Although the noise from the beach bar from 6.00pm to 12.00pm was just awful so we left the following day and drove 10 mins up the river to Devin castle, which was much more peaceful. Out of season would be perfect.

as capital city sites go, this is a good one. outstanding views of the castle across the river. but it has everything else you'd expect from a Riverside carparking area. pretty grubby. not at all fenced off so free to get down to water. lovely park behind as well. Lots of motorhomes, felt safe...very hot in August but worth it for the city views.

Convenient spot for visiting Bratislava. We crossed the tram bridge and walked into city centre in 20 mins. Some music until 11pm but quiet night. Nice view of Danube and castle. Bratislava we really enjoyed! Free to stay possible wifi from visitbratislava.

Large gravel area on River Danube with fine views of the Castle which is lit up at night along with the rest of the Old Town. No services. The Green Bridge is a tram, pedestrian and cycle bridge only, so the easiest to cross over into the small pretty Old Town. Four motorhomes staying the night from different countries including South Korea. Adjacent to the parking area is a large green park and at the far end the UFO Bridge.

Large gravel mixed parking at the side of the Danube with a view of the castle. No services and gets very busy during the day and evening but quite at night. Do not park on the grass as Police have been known to issue fines for this, overnighting is accepted. Easy access to the old city across the adjacent foot and rail bridge. As a capital city the old city is small but worth the visit, along with the many cafes, shops and not to be missed the UFO on the bridge.

Great free place for visiting the city, short ride over the bridge to the centre. We did not stay overnight as it was really hot and not really the place to sit out or leave the windows open at night so moved back into Austria at a nice quiet spot on the river. City is not that big but has a nice feel and worth a visit for a couple of hours.
