A really good, well laid out aire. Very handy for the town centre, 400 Mtrs, and the famous cave museum, 1.2Kms. There is an intermarche supermkt 1.6Kms which is easy to walk to, or drive to for fuel. The only snag is the water bourne. You will need a male to male “Hozelock” type connection, prefereably with a valve in it, as there is no “off” tap once you connect to it. As others have said, would be muddy in the wet. Main road adj. but not very busy during the night. 6Euros a night inc electricity.View all reviews by steandann
Been horrendous drive there due to heavy rain. This is a favourite of ours. It has gone up to €6 a night from 1900-0800. Payable by cardView all reviews by corconx
Town has everything and is worth a look around
March 2018 a wet night and 15 + vans on site. €5 inc ehu. Water, fresh, Black and grey free. Difficult to trust satnav if not approaching on D704. Ground is wet and limestone based mud. Difficult to keep it out of van, opposite to summer dust.! Some road noise.View all reviews by teamrienza
Very good aire close to town (5 minutes walk)View all reviews by ralphss8
Very dusty in hot weather and not much shade. Payment by CC machine.
Be very careful of following satnav if approaching from south as it may take you through impossibly narrow streets. Mine did :-(
Great site close to town with plenty of shops and restaurants. close to Lascaux IV could have walked from aire instead of moving the motorhome.View all reviews by pleb
Road works in the town best access from south is to cross river on entering the town then cross back signposted from roundabout.
Excellent aire in lovely town, about 5mins away. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby, a good place to sample confit of duck. Super area.View all reviews by tribby
A large and very good Aire on a dusty surface in hot dry weather, but no problem. Beware how you approach on market day - we got ourselves committed and the traders had to move their stalls to let us through. Amazingly they didn't seem to mind.View all reviews by daveandsian
The town itself and surroundings are very interesting. Les Eysies (unmissable) was very busy as we came through - better to stay at Montignac and drive down to visit the cave dwellings.
