covid restrictions were in place and temperature taken when you go in and track and trace.
food great with special board and plenty to choose from good size portions try the haggis in batter or the steak pie ,
dogs allowed in the bar area but they have a restaurant side too and free parking great night thank you.

Stopover on way to the Trossachs, fantastic food and drink. Only motorhome there, also has Scottish Real Ale shop next door.View all reviews by dr1960dr
Stopped on spec on our way down from the highlands. Food excellent in the pub all the staff really helpful. We were the only motorhome in the car park which is set far enough back from the main road ensure a quiet nights sleep. No facilities but no problem for a stopover.View all reviews by Richard1967
We spent New Year here with friends in 2018 and the pub is in a lovely location near the snall tiwn of Callander. The food is very good and the atmosohere good too but we were disappointed in the entertanment. Thete was a live band playing folk music and people were dancing but not Scottish music as we had hoped. I would still recommend it thoigh as a good place to spend New Year. There is a lovely walk along the river to Callander.View all reviews by doonadog
Excellant traditional pub stop over - (always ring a head as small car park), folk music most Saturdays all year. Food was lovely, very friendly staff, free dog biscuits for well behaved dogs in pub ????, River close by, walksView all reviews by matti
Very slight road noise
Level car park. Rang ahead & was told that it should be alright but check when we got there. Turns out it was okay. Very friendly staff & spoke to some other tourists in the bar. One other motorhome stayed that night. Very pretty part of the countryside. Food was greatView all reviews by debbiehar
Quick stop over as we couldn't find a "proper" site for the night. Very accommodating to my telephone request to park the van on their car park. In return we went for dinner in the Inn. Good meals and large portions. Great hospitality. The place was rather empty, but not surprising mid week in December. Parking on the car park is next to the road. Not busy but some traffic noise. No facilities.View all reviews by geralddavison
Perfect for a stop over.
Gave advice on where we could find toilets the next day. The Edinburgh Woollen Mill is a few hundred metres along the main road towards Callander and was open for "coffee" and their loos at 9AM
