Excellent stopover. Spent 2 nights here. Very relaxing. The pub has excellent beer brewed on the premises. Lovely cliff walks and seal - watching. Would love to come back here. A popular place at weekends.

Perfect spot to spend the night, the grass land belongs to the pub just down the road so we had a lunch and just checked it was ok to stay with the landlord. Lovely food in the pub and a locally brewed ale. There's toilets a wicked view.

Excellent place to stay with water and toilet. We enjoyed it so much we stayed three nights.

Found two good walks. Cycling and canoeing seems to be popular as well as fishing.

We dined in the pub and sampled their ale. It's not often these days that you can find mild on tap.

Great spot to stay, we parked on the road on one of the couple of flat spaces, as we didn’t fancy going on the grass. Clean toilet with a water tap outside. Great views across to the IOM, and some good walks. Lovely fishing village. Would recommend.

Wonderful place to overnight. The grass area has few flat areas and chocks required. A few spaces on the tarmac at the entrance. There is a single toilet and a tap. The village is very picturesque. The exhibition in the chapel is worth a visit. The pub just around the corner is “The Steam Packet Inn “. Good beers and food.
Views are fantastic over to the Lake District.

This is a wonderful little spot. Room for 10+ vehicles. There's a toilet in the car park. this has an outside tap to refill too. The land is owned by the pub and you are made very welcome. A good choice of beers brewed in the village. Food is excellent and reasonable prices.

An excellent find. Views and sounds of the sea, lovely walks, friendly community, toilet close by and live music in the little pub round the corner. What more do you need?!

Probably my favourite wild camp for s long time. Lovely location and village.

If you intend to park on the grass you will need ramps for most if the field. We parked at the top of the quayside on concrete.

Unfortunatley the pub was booked for meals so either book in advance or bring enough food to cook.

Gravel and grass car park, grass on a slight slope. Lovely harbour an views of several headlands. The village has a post office (closes 1pm) and a cafe open until 4pm. Pub/restaurant by the harbour edge. Six vans in tonight. In rain, the grass could be a bit soft. Well kept area. No cost.

Stayed here for one night, leisure batteries running low, got plugged in on the harbour, two coin operated metres in a box near the Harbourmasters office.
One electric point near the pub has a standard domestic three pin plug socket and the other just at the harbour has a large size round pin socket. You can sometimes borrow an extension to plug in from the Harbourmaster.

Parked in the carpark backed onto the harbour. In October the toilets were still open - many other places it was May - Sept. Good meal in the pub 50 yds away. We were the only van there. Excellent place.

Brilliant. Sloping grass field had about 10 m/homes of varying sizes when we stayed. Toilet and tap at entrance, can have shower £1 at harbour masters office, 24hr, basic, hot water & private, launderette also there. Excellent if have dog as walk up to small light house and St Ninians chapel plus well signed coastal walk over other side of harbour. Dog friendly Steam Packet inn, just round corner for meals. Café/shop on way in did takeaway snacks & gorgeous cakes

Great view over the harbour

We chose not to park on the field as there were places facing the harbour. Toilets and tap available.
Saw a sign for showers and washing machines but did not need to use them.
