Came for 2 nights in early September. Worth visiting for the location but as others have noted facilities are poor, and Motorhomes not well served. Water pressure low, so don’t plan on filling up here.

Lovely location but we only stayed 5 minutes.
Pitches not marked and there was minimal distance between motorhomes which were facing door to door, and we were put in between them. We have not experienced this on any other site and would not have been able to sit outside comfortably or put our dog on even a short fixed lead due to the close proximity. Clearly a case of trying to recover from lost earnings earlier this year and accepting as many bookings as possible, instead of giving customers the space they deserve. Needless to say we did not get a refund. Such a shame as the location was great.

Beautiful situation on the river bank just above the bridge at Clifton Hampden. Owners friendly and very helpful. Facilities not so good however, no grey water drop, toilets badly in need of refurb as is chem toilet disposal. Good local walks and Barley Mow nextdoor does great food including takeaways.

Love this small, uncrowded, quiet, greenfield site watching boats and swans pass by - especially when you see nearby packed carparks and other access points to the Thames. Beautiful setting and an old thatch-roofed pub behind you. But beware: not really geared up for m-homes. No drive-over drain or waste disposal point, one tap mid field for all, san block basic and bucket of water to flush 'elsan' point (cistern out of order). Still, I'd definitely return.

Lovely well kept site, Location excellent, just sit back and watch the boats go by. Nice pub right next to site. Moo and Geoff couldn't have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful. The Thames foot path runs right next to the site with easy access. The only minor negatives are the toilet facilities are looking very tired and in need on freshening up, and a little pricey for the poor facilities (£20 without EHU) but the location more than made up for it.

I stayed here for 3 nights. It is right on the river and looks exactly how it does in the photos - which is unusual !

It seemed quite expensive at £25 per night but when I arrived I realised thatbit was well worth it. Its a lovely site, in lovely surroundings and the owners very very helpful and friendly.

As it is no children there was no noise (apart from a little traffic on the bridge). Very organised aite, clean loos and showers.

Highly reccomended.

Beautiful site, great location, Thames walk on the doorstep. Pub next door, village shop 5 minutes away.
Very friendly and helpful owners... broke leg of Fiamma awning and they fixed it.
Will definitely be back

Beautifully located site beside the Thames. Spacious grass pitches with super views of the river and the surrounding countryside.
Short walk to local post office / village shop, and a pub next door. Lovely walks along the Thames towpath. Fishing/ boating/ canoeing available.
Owners very helpful and informative.
Definitely recommend for a peaceful relaxing break.

Beautifull spot

Toilet disposal completely flooded
Think they could spend some money on toilet block

What a beautiful setting for a site! Right on the bank of the Thames in a quaint village with thatched cottages and a lovely pub on the doorstep, great dog walks along the Thames too. Geoff and Moo couldn’t do enough for us-we struck up a conversation (about darts!) and became instant friends. 20p for showers.....make sure you’re ready and you can get done with 20p.....but 40p gives you a full shower. Laundry facilities also available. Loved it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bridge House Caravan Park. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The location is beautiful, right on the banks of the Thames. Facilities were very clean. Showers are 20p which is fine by me but it would be nice to know when your 20p is about to run out :-D
The village is very picturesque with lovely walks along the Thames. We especially enjoyed the boat ride to Dorchester provided by Geoff for a small fee. Can't wait to return!

I have stayed here twice now. First time was when an old lady owned it and when you booked, there was an honesty box for payment on arrival. It has now been taken over and has been improved apart from the showers. I camped here both times while kayaking part of the Thames, so its a great location for that. There is a good pub right next door.

Very scenic location right on banks of Thames, dog friendly pub next door, good walks along Thames paths. The toilets and showers (20p) really could do with an update and hot water in wash basins would be nice. Quite good value £15 per night without electric.

Beautiful set at the river Thames. Pub next door. Showers cost 20p. Toilets and showers are old. Ehu can be out of range, but we could borrow extension from very kind owner of the campsite. No place to empty water. But fresh water is nearby and elsan point at toilet building. No marked pitches and originally we were put under a tree, not allowed to move next to the tree, so we got another pitch.

3 showers (50p)/ toilets. No washing up facilities. Hot water available from toilets to use in washing up bowl I suppose. but they also have drinking water outside tap and waste disposal. Pub right next to site. Lovely river walks with canoe hire too. £15 without Ehu or £20 with

Was lucky enough to get a pitch here after they had a cancellation. Really beautiful site in a very peaceful setting. Everyone was very friendly. Will definitely be back!
Only downside was having to pay 10p just for hot water to wash hands after using the facilities!!
