Great car park but you cannot park here if you are longer than 5.5m. we parked during the day and paid for 4 hours. on returning to the vehicle we were informed by th.e attendant that we were lucky to be leaving as she was just about to issue ticket as, even though we fitted within the lines, admittedly with our overhang over some grass, as we were more than 5.5m we should not be parked (in any council car park). there is no signage informing you of that, you have to check their website!!!. another motorhome was ticketed as we leftView all reviews by jimali

Pleasant nights stay after arriving late saturday evening . Cheap parking also , only (£3 ) til monday morning . Chose to stay near the station end as closer to the toilet block and bins . We were one of 3 motorhomes using the site .View all reviews by ColinV

There have been murmurings on certain Facebook sites recently that Woodbridge does not have a motorhome stopover. It does. It is the avenue car park and for very large vehicles the Station car park is also offered. The avenue is by the railway line although very quiet at night, a short walking distance into town, loads of pubs and restaurants, and £2.50 to stop all day and night. The bays are normal car length so if very large take up two spaces and pay £4.80. An excellent stopoverView all reviews by onlyjen

A Caution to my above review: Approaching the Avenue car park there is a large sign at the entrance that carries no mention of "no camping". It was only after my third night of an undisturbed stopover that after walking into town and returning from a different direction I chose to look at a smaller sign at the entrance. This basically repeated all the information carried on the larger and more obvious sign, except for one line in blue right at the bottom. "No overnight camping". Confusing.View all reviews by onlyjen

As a 7.3 metre van we managed to park overhanging the grass near the bottle banks.Close to railway line but none running this weekend. Short walk to river & lots of walks. We walked to old granary & marina & back. cinema only 200 yards away. Toliets on site & drain for grey waste. Beautiful spot. Woodbridge itself is recommended. Lots of quirky shops, restaurants, pubs. St Mary's church beautiful too. They are normal size parking bay's & we parked on a Saturday night in August - very quiet.View all reviews by vivagibbo
