Around twenty kilometres north of Epinal, the small town of Nomexy welcomes you in the heart of the Vosges, near the Moselle.
The fortress of Châtel sur Moselle, a major example of medieval military architecture in Lorraine, is easily accessible on foot or by bike. Discover its three levels of galleries, double artillery wall and moats. The site is open all year round and offers guided tours, as well as a rich cultural programme.
Just next to the motorhome stopover, the Canal des Vosges is a popular spot for fishing enthusiasts. The walking and cycling path around the canal offers a lovely walk in nature. You can reach Charmes (12 km) on one side or Epinal (18 km) on the other.
