It is not acceptable to park with capers anywhere thereView all reviews by katty
Do not use - you are likely to get a ticket (we did). Signs clearly show motorbikes and cars only - doesn't say no camervans / motorhomes or overnight stays but ...View all reviews by Kath1963
Excellent views, some flat areas for parking overnight. We couldn't fine a flat spot so went on to the next viewpoint by the Argyll Gardens. There were more flat spaces. It is important that your rig fits within the painted lines or apparently tickets will be issued. No facilities. No signs limiting who parks there.View all reviews by goneagain
It is a huge u-shaped road with plenty of space to park. The whole area has signs indicating car and bike parking. I arrived at about 8.30 and stayed til about 2.30. Still some space when I left. Be aware that a Councillor lives locally and is the force behind the anti-van parking notices. A parking warden knocked on my door just before I left and said that the Councillor in question phones up when he sees vans and insists that the wardens come round and issue tickets (£70, £35 if you pay inmediately). Apparently this happens all year. Wardens don’t really want to issue tickets and would appreciate letters to the Council to help get signage removed.View all reviews by brambles
I am a local here and noticed over the air show weekend that they were putting tickets on motorhomes. There are the car and motor cycle signs, but, they did not ticket any of the commercial and non commercial vans that were Renaults/Vivaros/ Transits.View all reviews by Dillon
Very short sighted of Bournemouth Council, but I would dispute the ticket if I got one on the grounds there are nonsigns prohibiting campers, and the vans were not ticketed.
We stayed here over the weekend - fabulous spot, plenty of roadside spaces, with many of them overlooking the sea (clear view of Harry's Rocks in the distance) The area got pretty busy during the day, but we had no problems finding a peachy spot on both days/nights - definitely a location we will return to, great views, nice and flat and felt very safe.View all reviews by markandmel
Watch out - New restrictions in place here.View all reviews by angusmc64
Looks like lots more of the blue “cars and bikes only” signs have gone up in last few weeks.
Short sighted city councillors!
You get a ticket all over this area they started giving out tickets about 10 in the morning this area is for motorbikes and cars only cost me £35View all reviews by CWBaxter
One of our favourite spots in Bournemouth. Lots of free parking, unrestricted for vans and motorhomes. Be careful not to park by the “cars/motorcycle only” signs. Very close to the beaches, and close to public toilets by the Harvester - toilets open during the day from 8am to 9pm in summer. Pretty quiet at night, the odd car or two but generally always had a decent sleep here.View all reviews by angusmc64
Great overnight parking spot with lots of room for parking. Parked right above the beach with easy walk down the stairs to the Harvester for a bite to eat. Stunning views out to sea and along the coast. plenty of parking during the day at end of road which isn't controlled parkingView all reviews by nisbetts
Lots of spaces for long vehicles. Plenty of space for my 7.15m moho. £5 for 24hr stay. Co-op and coffee shop just over the road. Great!View all reviews by clara
