Beautiful location close proximities to different shops etc. Only thing worth noting is if travellimg with pets there is the car park to walk aeound with slightly grassed edges but not really a place to let them free for a run. Good for an overnight stop safe & secure.
As lots say no electric and small chsrge for water, didnt see puplic toilets however there may be some inside the small building which at a guess id say is a bus station maybe

Nice aire as stated but no electricity when we arrived apparently they have stopped it now . . Still same services for black / grey empty . . Great location for visiting Magra and the palace

a nice spot, quiet overnight. free electric at 10amp and grey/black waste dump and water ( paid €1 for 170 seconds of flow) think you can pay between €0.50 and €2 depending how much you need. nice town to visit, supermarkets near (lidl, intermarche etc). if satnav takes you on a long route, set it for lidl which is just down the road.

Great aire with full services & free electric. Easy walking distance into town and the Palace, well worth the visit. Lidl nearby and plenty cafes etc in town. View from the aire is stunning. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Lovely new Aire with FREE electric - but you have to pay fo water - right alongside the Palace. Supermarket just across the road.

If coming from the north, the satnav coordinates will try and take you into the palace grounds and around the back which is closed off. Carry on past the front of the palace to the next junction and turn left up the hill and left again at the next roundabout into the new carpark. All 7 designated MH spots taken but about 20 coach spaces adjacent which we slipped into. Now 12 electric points on 4 posts so with a long cable we were able to connect. Superb location for visiting Mafra and the palace.

DENGER
Wonderful overnight stop. Positioned in carpark with full services point and free ELEC. Very quiet at night. The view from the air os truly amazing, wake up and look out tp sea. Th palace is well worth the visit and so is the town. Main supermarkets all in easy reach.

Popular free new aire on part of a tarmac car park next to bus station. Lots of commuters use the bus station so lots of car movements early and late, but not too noisy. Obscurely electric is free but you pay €1 for water! Next to the Palace de Mafra which is well worth a visit as is the Basilica. Lots of cafes, etc in streets opposite palace. Beware that there is also a military barracks next door so be prepared for early morning physical education by the soldiers taking place behind the aire!

A new looking Aire with 7 places with EHU (3 on a post and 3 in squares in the ground) The rest of the carpark is mixed parking and there is a bus station at the entrance to the carpark. The palace is 200 yards as is the town, it is actually a palace, bascilica and monestery all in one, it is 1.50euro each for seniors to get in and is worth the visit. Lidl is 300 yards away towards the entrance to carpark and turn right at the roundabout. Tourist information is down the steps opposite on right.
