Wow, Wow and Wow, what a fabulous place to stay, you do need to be fully self-sufficient. It does get very busy during the day but quiet enough at night. Great views and great walks over to St Ninians. We parked overlooking the beach and bay.View all reviews by roche57

Returned here for 3 nights during our trip. Great spot, but popular. Quiet overnight. Phone signal diminishes the lower down you park. The community shop in Bigton has very helpful staff. Hopefully people will respect this place and it will continue to remain available.View all reviews by iana

What a location, what a view! A popular spot but we found a space no problem. While there are no facilities bar picnic table, bench and bin, there is a sauna for hardy souls! Otherwise a walk across the tombolo to St Ninians Isle is a must. There is a shop and toilet up the hill in Bigton.View all reviews by HMoat

What an incredibly beautiful stopover. Stunning views and a fantastic walk over the tombola and around St Ninian’s Isle. No facilities other than rubbish bins and public toilets a 10-15 minute walk up the hill, but if you’re self-contained this is one not-to-miss. We loved it so much, we returned a few days later for a second night.View all reviews by MoiraBanks

Amazing, simply amazing. Stayed here on 2 or 3 occasions on our extended visit to the Shetlands. Great views over to St Ninians. Amazing beach, walks and wildlife. No onsite facilities other than commercial waste/recycling bins although there are toilet facilities a short walk up the hill where you are allowed to empty your toilet (signs inside the toilets) Finishing with the same word at the start of the review.
