Stayed for one night as stop off to the Eurotunnel. Food not available Mon to Thurs because of restrictions...totally understandable, but this is a temporary situation si check ahead if you need food. Very welcoming we just had a few drinks..excellent Timothy Taylor Landlord, with several more real ales on offer. Filled our water tank after asking first, very accommodating. Very quiet, good nights sleep. Friendly atmosphere, locals and landlady. Definitely returnView all reviews by johnboyharrison
We arrived 21.30, the landlord was most welcoming and attentive, very friendly. He showed us a slot to stay over night once a couple of cars had moved. Had a couple of drinks, and left early morning, no problems and no issues. A good and quiet place to stop over enroute to north of Norfolk. Apart from usual pub food n drink, we used no facilities.View all reviews by russell270761skinner
Thoroughly recommend this place. Very friendly and accommodating people running a good pub. Excellent food and beer.View all reviews by MarcoSteptoe
It seems that all that is expected in return is that you have couple of drinks. However, if you want to play the game properly and have a meal, may I suggest that you do so on their Friday Fish day. I ordered haddock, but think I got whale instead! Never seen a fish that big on a plate. Delicious it was too!
Additionally, the kind landlady even allowed us to top up our water tank.
This is a very friendly pub stop, we are a 8m moho and there is limited space but had no problem in parking at the rear of their small car park. Didnt try the food but had a couple of beers. Overall a great one night stopover just off the M11 for free - cant get much better than this!View all reviews by daveled

Really nice pub with excellent food. Only space for 1 motorhome. Friendly staff. Fairly level tarmac carpark. Free to stay if eating in pub. No services.View all reviews by Ferdie101

Very dog friendly Barney loved the biscuits and all the attention! Locals chatty. Too late for a meal but good Indian takeaway in the village. Dog walks in the woods behind the pub. Selection of hand pulled beers.View all reviews by kazjohnson
