Such a friendly welcome. Well priced and tasty pub grub menu. Corner car park spot coned off for motorhomes. Some road noise but it quietened off overnight. Contacted to book through Facebook messenger. Cheapest fuel in area at Saunsburys just down the road. Recommended would definitely stay again.

Great stop over the staff were very welcoming and friendly the food is well priced and very good. There is an area coned off for motorhomes.

Booked in advance and signs were put out in car park for motorhome parking bays only, Emma the landlady could not be more friendly and helpful, we had the Sunday roast and could not fault it for the amount we got quality and price. We would definitely use this pub again.

Lovely welcome from the staff and great location. Even though we asked to stay on a Monday when they are traditionally closed they served is food and drinks.
Very friendly staff. Location is right by the WW2 War Memorial and on the coast road.
Ideal for ferries and tunnel.
Highly recommend. Free to stay just a meal in the pub.... whats not to like!

Last minute decision to stay here last night. Landlady was fine that we hadnt booked in advance. Spent a lovely evening in the pub writing our christmas cards and had a delicious meal. Dog friendly too.

Pulled in for lunch prior to going to euro tunnel tonorrow. Was going to stay in local campsite tonight but staff here so friendly, food so good and in a frequent bus service into town (stop adjacent to pub) decided to stay overnight at their suggestion. Lovely spot. Excellent place and about 10 or 15 minutes fromm euro tunnel. We didn't phone ahead as wasn't expecting to stay but guess polite to do so

Stayed for one night at the end of October. Food was lovely and the staff were very welcoming. Only downside is that there is a fair amount of road noise.

Great stopover flat carpark, food good and very friendly staff . 6 vans in the night we stayed.2 mins from the tunnel.

A great pub stop, very handy for the Shuttle. We arrived on bank holiday monday afternoon. The pub closes on a monday evening and we were too late for a lunchtime meal but they were very happy for us to stay overnight in the car park. No facilities as pub was closed but able to use toiket during opening hours. Would definitely use again.

Friendly pub owners and good pub food.
Car park could be tight if busy but was OK for us.
Nice walk down the side of the pub to the cliff edge with some lovely views.
Nice pub garden and children's play area.
Some road noise.
Would stay again for a convenient stop before the tunnel.

Stayed here last night, Excellent home cooked food and beer and so close to the Channel tunnel and Dover. Very friendly Landlady and barmaid . Will return next time for sure ????

Stayed here for a night on way to the ferry. Very friendly and welcoming staff, good food at a sensible price too. Lovely walk from behind the pub to Battle of Britain Memorial. Parked up in the far corner of car park and had a peaceful night. Perfect spot for ferry stopovers

Stayed here a couple of times now. Really handy for port. Nice pub with new management. Great food and nice cider. Welcoming staff. No electric or other facilities yet but toilet during opening hours. Recommend the steak and chips. Space for 4 maybe 5 medium motorhome.

Really helpful and welcoming. Delicious food. Battle of Britain memorial is very close by with breathtakingly views and the ferries are very convenient. A bit of traffic and pub noise as expected on a warm evening but peaceful during the night. Highly recommended. Parking free when eating at the pub.
