Typical "city" site, ie, a bit frayed at the edges. A significant number of "long term caravans", but... Level pitches, two amenity blocks, all clean and working. Very friendly Warden, wife and sister/daughter(?), who all spoke English. Everything explained to us, on arrival. Motorhome waste emptying is a bit Heath Robinson, but, it works. Entrance is a bit dauntingly narrow. Bus to rail station, plenty of cycling, traffic free routes. 22.50Euro/night. Two restaurants/bars nearby. Would return.View all reviews by kenreay
I didn't find this a comfortable site, we parked on a roadway which was not within the site and the public were walking past. One toilet block and one area for washing with only 2 showers and 1 washing room. It did have a dish washing area with 4 sinks and gas cooking hobs.View all reviews by brianmagill
I knew the charges were per person plus the motorhome, electric
was .90€ per kw on a meter, they took a reading and then took a reading when you are leaving but you don't get to see the meter readings. They charged for 5 Kw which I never used on previous sites in the same period of time. On checking my bill on leaving I found they charged for dumping rubbish 1€ not enough space to finish review but will make another.
To finish my review as i was parked outside the site my cable was not long enough so he supplied me with a cable and charged me 1€.View all reviews by brianmagill
The rubbish bin was overflowing as i went to go to another a bit further away he insisted i put my rubbish in his bin so he could charge me for it. The photos of the site were taken when not many caravans were on site and they are parked far to close. Washing area is open and not heated. And don't arrive between 1 and 3 pm as they are not open.
Total cost was 25.50€ which i debated and he reduced it to 22€ never before have i paid for rubbish disposal or extension cable, glad i hadn't visited in high season.
This is a good conformable site next to the Rhine in a beautiful location. There ta a cafe bar next to the site serving food and drinks with a restrant about 100 meters further along the river. Surrounded by woods but only 25 minutes cycle ride from the centre of Mannheim. I can seriously recommend this place if you are in the area.View all reviews by purpledragon
