Brilliant stop if you have bikes or like walking as its right next to a via verde bike path. You can ride/ walk on a flatish path ( ex railway line) for miles in either direction with stunning scenery. We were here over a weekend so lots of spanish families at the site, and a really friendly atmosphere. People were taking out their chairs and barbecues and sitting around in groups. On Sunday evening the families mostly left, and just a few motorhomes were left. You can rent bikes at the bikeshop too, and theres also a cheapish restaurant. £3 a night or £7 for the whole weekend, which you pay in the bike rental shop.View all reviews by gail55
Superb stop alongside the via verde, the services are good and there is also a large sink with cold water, the EHU’s are work in progress and at the momen a bit Heath Robinson. The town is nice a steep climb through the old streets as normal, shops bars and a small supermarket. The views from the Via verde in both directions are gloriousView all reviews by jezabel
A brilliant camper stop with grey water, WC dump and fresh water. The owners are currently putting in more electric hook ups as there are only 4 at the moment. You can buy eine snd olive oil in the cycle shop. A bread van comes aroubd at 9am each morning. It was quite quiet in the week but friday night it was very busy.View all reviews by Rewindthegap
Stayed 2 nights. Nice bar on site. quiet when the day-trippers go home. Toilets locked until about 11am so not much use. Great spot for the cycle path and really flat. EHU are shared and there is only about 6 hook-ups. the rest are no-EHU. Pay for electric in the cycle shop.View all reviews by valford
cycled past on disused railway line, this now has grey and toilet drop, it looks ideal for the cycle path. toilets and shower locked when we visited. did not stop overnight but may call in to use the service point before leaving the area.View all reviews by pindersontour
As previous reviewers have said plus new facilities under construction September 2019.View all reviews by mandi3136
just to correct the last review, there are NOT water taps on the pitches. There is a water tap on the side of the bicycle hire/tourist information centre and also a stand alone cold water washing up area just inside the motorhome area.View all reviews by lincolstables
There is a toilet and grey waste dump across the road.
The restraunt is open every day except mondays.
Our friends had used this site and recommended it because of the cycling. There are 7flat gravel pitches suitable for larger motorhomes. There is a wastebin on each pitch and a water tap, but sadly no grey or elsan dump.View all reviews by paulholt57
The pitches are adjacent to the Vio Verde cycle track along a former railway line.
Trees provide some shade and there are picnic tables available.
Traffic seemed to commence at 0600hrs, when it became reasonably noisy.
The location is great for the cycling
There is a waste disposal point, directions are pisted close to the entrance, I have also posted a photo of the sign
