Great views of the river, quiet and peaceful, really nice pub serving great cocktails just across yonder, will 100% be back here at some point,View all reviews by mofomoho
Great spot next to the river, very quiet when we stayed. Rose and crown pub were very friendly and food was great. Nice walk down the river with the dog.View all reviews by martincawley
location is fabulous, right next to the river with hardstanding. Walked to the Rose and Crown on reading previous reviews as we have 2 dogs. A very warm welcome and had food on the evening £7.95 for ham chips and egg can't complain about that and a free stop with it!View all reviews by massey16
Brilliant location by the river Trent, managed to get parked on the front.View all reviews by dave322
Rose & Crown just a few minutes walk away, good advice from previous review. great walking along the river, there is a bus service so you could go into Newark. We will use again.
Nice stop over. Close to 2 pub which are not cheap, but hey we parked for free. Fantastic view. We managed to right at the front.View all reviews by Matrix2055
super place right on the river Trent, stayed for three nights, tues wed and thurs, quiet apart from some hot hatch kids playing music and kicking a ball about but not for long.pub and restaurant on site but a bit pricey for me however you will pass the rose and crown on the way in,its only 5 mins stroll away, good beer and food a lot cheaper, and they just love dogs.no facilities on site.but will defiantly use again.View all reviews by doogle
location is grand with good views. a good (if short) walk along the river and around a nature reserve and very close to the Riverside Inn, which is, unfortunately, not dog friendly. they did however recommend the Rose and Crown, about 10minutes walk. this pub turned out to be the most dog friendly pub we've ever been to. our beardie pup, Lola, was given titbits of biscuit, sausage and even rump steak. oh yeah - the Everards Tiger was also excellent.View all reviews by stewieuk
