This is a parking area at the top of a winding blacktop road up a mountain to a scenic viewpoint. There is a building at the top which was unoccupied in December but probably is or was about fire watching. There is also a separate toilet building which was also locked in Dec. There are no services but views are wonderful. Because it is on top of a ridge strong winds could be a problem but was not on the day we visited.
Free. There are signs that warn that hunting is private. That means it is not allowed as this is a nature reserve.
