A fabulous stop, with easy access off the main road. We were here 8-11Feb for the festival of Moors and Christians and Saint Blai, lots of re-enactment battles, fireworks and parades (do not come to this if you have a dog petrified of fireworks) The village itself is beautiful and definitely worth a stop whatever the time of year. Fabulous location though we weren’t at all sure at first, looked pretty unlikely on approach but it was fine. We drove around the back and preferred it to what seemed quite exposed at the front. Added to that you get this fabulous view. The village is just beautiful but you need to be pretty fit to get around. Couple of bars and restaurants but, like most off the beaten track places at this time of year, very quiet and not much open. Also sad is the number of what appear to be abandoned properties but, on the plus side, there do appear to be signs of renovation works. No services apart from a bin.View all reviews by nina0548
