Visitors to the site are treated to some majestic views of Table Mountain, the Sugarloft, Llangattock Escarpment on the edge of Mynydd Llangatwg and Black Mountains. In the next field to the site the River Usk (where it is said that in 1929 Dr Edward Bach of Bach Remedies found his first flower essence 'Mimulus' growing to perfection along the river bank) and the River Grwyney join at the edge of the field which is where the salmon exist the Grwyney for the world renown salmon leap. Visitors to our site can walk down to the river over our private field to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of a private river bank where it is only for the visitors to enjoy.
We are within walking distance of the local pub, bus stop and the historic market town of Crickhowell (which won Great British High Street Awards 2018) and has been voted the best town to live in the United Kingdom. It also has a very impressive historic bridge, castle, numerous shops, cafes, pubs with good restaurants, a library and a visitor centre with lots of useful information. Just 3 miles up the road you will find the medieval Tretower Court definitely worth a visit.
