Fabulous site. The owner is very friendly and helpful and makes scrumptious pizzas as well. What's not to like! Showers and toilet facilities are very clean.View all reviews by SBrookes

What a fabulous place. We were made to feel so welcome when we arrived. There are grass pitches and hard standing. The shower facilities were immaculately clean and these are to be extended this year. If you visit you must try the food, in particular the pizzas but definitely leave room fir the sundaes.View all reviews by TheGuys

An amazing little aire in Sanday, Orkney. Spotless shower room, large hardstanding pitches with a stunning view over the wild flower meadow looking out to sea. Authentic wood fired pizzas and lovely staff, what's not to like. They are adding two additional shower rooms over winter ready for 2025.View all reviews by 59DegreesNorth

Stayed here 2 nights as a base for exploring Sanday. It really feels like a luxury stay with the fantastic shower facilities available 24/7. The pizzas were great - before planning your trip you might like to check that the pizzeria will be open as it isn’t open every day (and only on Thursdays in winter)View all reviews by RovingRector

Absolutely wonderful. The parking is well laid out and close to the toilet / shower room which is available at all times and is spotlessly clean. The cafe is open until 8.00pm and the pizza is as good as it gets. We stopped on Sanday for 3 nights and spent the 1st night here. It was so good we came back for our last night.View all reviews by Terry111

Brilliant place. Neat, tidy and got everything you need. Shower/toilet facilities spotless. All van facilities (waste, chemo toilet, water) all neatly together. The cafe part also spotless and amazing pizza!! Very doggy friendly too. Walks around the Loch and surrounding areas. Absolutely spot on. We are talking Sanday so obviously not 'close' to anything but in the grand scheme of things not out of the way!View all reviews by sab137

We can add very little to the last review. The hardstanding pitches are excellent and the facilities are exceptional . It is well organised and oozes quality What a joy to see this sort of facility which many others can only aspire to.. Can we also add a big vote for Sanday itself. We had great weather but the cycling or walking particularly on the beaches is as good as you will find. The locals are very welcoming and there is enough history and scenery to occupy you for a few days.View all reviews by Silverizal

A great site with most of the amenities you’d like… and a noteable addition - a pizza cafe!! Delicious pizzas, a really nice owner (John) and a great stop off for a night or two if you’re heading to Sanday. One improvement we would suggest though, is a separate toilet - as the shower/bathroom is the only one, and serves for the cafe users too - so someone may be having a shower and you only want to use the loo. But it’s wonderfully clean and well appointed.View all reviews by skyecat

We really enjoyed our 5 days at 59 degrees North - it is a perfect pitch for exploring Sanday. Jon and Clare really understand what an Aire should have and they have got it just right! The facilities are outstanding; the Pizzas are wonderful and the cafe shed is a joy to visit. From the site you can see over the sea to Eday, Westray and Papa Westray. We walked from the aire to beautiful sandy beaches and cycled around the island taking in its varied history and wildlife... Thanks Jon and Clare.View all reviews by TrudeandDall
