Great aire, toilets, hot water and ehu included. entry and exit via complicated prepay code, photograph your ticket as they can go astray.View all reviews by amecof
Fabulous toilets, showers are prepaid but you can add additional showers to your " account " retrospectively.
Beautiful setting on the river, little town with small supermarket, church bars and restaurants.
Great riverside cycle path to city of angers.
will definitely return.
I would concur with all the other reports as this is a great place to stay. Please be aware that the showers, which are hot and clean, that payment for them has to be made at the entrance barrier, can't be added later. So you need to estimate how many showers you want up front, you get 10 minutes, which is activated by a code in the toilet block. You also need double ended, male water adaptor, the service point only has a female connector so most hoses won't connect up without the adaptor.View all reviews by boblet
Lovely site views right by the river but unfortunately due to tec faults no showers were available but no refunds so we were very disappointed and dissatisfied but when in area would try againView all reviews by erichele
Always a nice place to stop off (although we only ever do this out of season).View all reviews by billoreilly
Since we last stayed here they have constructed a barrier entry system - read the instructions very carefully and do not lose your receipt as it has your unique exit code!!
Note that the charge per night for low season is 8 Euros and payment can only be made via bank cards.
When we visited the service area was being reconstructed as was unavailable. There are instructions posted to guide you to the service point at the Basse Nautique just down the road - not the best of service points but it's free!
This is a lovely spot, which we highly recommend, right by the side of the River Maine just upstream of its junction with the Loire. It was a camp site, then converted into an aire. We visited in April 23/24 2016. It was quite quiet, in sunny but cool weather. As others have suggested, do read the instructions at the gate carefully - most people seem to need help from others already there to get in and out! There was rather slow and intermittent wi-fi accessible near the gate. The adjacent village is attractive and quiet. It's only a short drive to Angers, the historic capital of Anjou, and its wonderful chateau. You can see in the castle the superb and beautifully presented 100-metre Apocalypse tapestry, commissioned in 1375 by Louis I and now one of the most important exhibits in France.View all reviews by mandnh
We visited in early March 2016 and it had rained hard so half the site was underwater, but half was still open and it didn't put us and 4 other French vans off, though it rained again in the night and the river levels crept up to within a few feet of one van! We paid €11.50 for one night including hookup, and the machine to get in and out was in most languages including English. So, good spot, check the river levels before travelling there though!View all reviews by austinpierson
Fantastic place, one of the best, quiet, individual plots, EHU , right by the river. Was an old municipal site, hence the loo's and showers building. We cycled from here on the cycle path in both directions, you get to Angers in one way and go through a beautiful park where there is a beach area for swimming, must have been 200 on there when we went by (very hot day). Angers has Le Petite train that runs from the cathedral all around the city which is great as it is very steep walking in places, we left our bikes on stands at the bottom.View all reviews by mandyandandy
If you go right out of the site you can walk/cycle to the next village, lovely place with bars/restaurant.
Last time we went France had suffered torrential rain and site was flooded and closed, very disappointed!
